I’m Building a 4 bedroom house with a pool in west bay. I wouldn’t mind a long term renter, less tear and wear.

Single man retiring in Roatan 01-JAN-2029 in the 600K-900K house range (today's value). Moving down by myself May 2024 to rent for 2-6 months while I wait for new job to start in the Caribbean. Looking where I find a studio or one bedroom for $1,500 or less. Any guidance would be great.

Do you have a website that shows long term rentals and prices?
@@johnnyjarhead0369 we have the ones roatan life manages roatanvacationrentals.com. There is no central website to check them out. Airbnb and vrbo work but those are mostly short term.

Way cheaper in other Caribbean islands, you really has to swimming with cash to live there!!
It is certainly becoming that way.
SMH! Travel to a foreign country and expect high end US standards in a gated community!! So it goes! I’ve been taking scuba diving vacations to Roatan since the early 1990s!! I kinda like the old days!
The early nineties would have been amazing! I do miss the west end beach road and hanging out in west bay with the trees and ocean and no one else around.
