Best video yet. You don't give yourself enough credit for how interesting and informative your videos are. I loved the demonstration because I am a visual person and once you showed how the vertical thread method worked, I got it! Thank you so much and do keep posting! Stay away from the poison ivy, too.❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your demo on stitching over one. It never made sense to me even watching other videos. Your enlarged version was a great way to show it clearly...and to see how exactly how the stitch could slip under. Now it makes sense. Thank you!
Please don't apologize for your beautiful digs and your chirping birds they are part of your family so anyone that does not appreciate that it is their probkem. Enjoyed the video today.
First time viewing your flosstube. Love it. That border on Lucy Calcutt looks like rick-rack. It is really neat. Love your doggies. Thank you for posting.
Great finish and the FFOs are wonderful. Your find of the round wooden trays is going to be perfect for your daughter's stitched piece! Thanks for the visual of the linen stitching. Your demonstration and explanation were very good.
Your stitching is so lovely! Thanks for taking the time to put together and demonstrate stitching using the vertical thread as a guide. I will need to try that. I appreciate seeing your pattern parade too. You show things that I haven't seen. BTW I think my dog likes your Flosstube the most because he can hear your doggies barking sometimes. :)
I’m glad to see you talking about watching the vertical thread. I was taught to do that when I first started stitching many years ago and like you said it helps you check for mistakes.
What's important about a tutorial is that it should be clear and therefore helpful - not if it is "professional" - yours was sooo clear and therefore helpful. I can't see anyone not getting it now after watching your explanation. I had a notion of what it was before, but now I KNOW. I will never be out of sync with my stitching anymore. You have been so helpful. Thanks a bunch. Hope Tanner is better soon and your poison ivy is gone soon too. Looking forward to the next pattern show - C.
Hi Deana. It's good to see you again. Glad to hear Steve's eye surgery went well. It was nice to meet you Tanner (I hope you get better quick). It was good to see you as well Tootie. I love how you finished "Ding Dong" and Boo Whoo". Both pieces turned out really cute!
Oh. Sorry about the poison ivy. I have vowed not to pull any more weeds in my yard because I always get a bad case. Good luck on getting into Stitch Con. Your broom finish is so cute! Great idea. And I do enjoy your chart parade. Looking forward to "C". Happy stitching.
I loved your Boo Whoo from Luminous Fiber Arts finish! That pillow is adorable! Thanks for enabling me... lol And thank you so much for demo.... it helped!
Great video!!! I really love the broom and pillow finishes. Your tutorial was very informative and I enjoyed looking at your B charts. Thank you for sharing. Take care!!!
Thank you for sharing. Your demo was beautiful and I can see/ understand stitching 1 over 1. I will go and try this now. It’s hard when our fur babies are sick. I also have a dog he is a Havanese. His name is Coffey and only 18 months. God bless and take care.
I really enjoyed your flosstube. It is the first one I've seen from you. Your thumbnail is what made me watch. I love vintage Halloween especially black cats. I also found your tutorial on vertical threads very good. I have heard the term many times but didn't know what it meant. I stitch on evenweave and occasionally get off half a stitch. I'm going to try this technique on my next project
Great video Deana, I appreciated your explanation of vertical threads and I think it makes a lot of sense. Love your witches broom and Boo Whoo pillow, they look really good. I'm starting to stitch Pandemic, which you encouraged me to try saying, it's just one stitch at a time. Thank you for that and it will take a while but it's not a race. Happy stitching. X
I really love your boo whoo pillow. It came out amazing. I was always afraid I will mark up my work with a highlighter. I bought some frixion highlighters. The are erasable or they disappear with heat. It is a great peace of mind. Your video couldn't have come at a better time. I was starting my very first stitch on linen. I had put 10 stitches in and I was thinking that I would have to do my stitches really loose because they were looking funky with my normal tension. I took out my 10 stitches started at the bottom left of a vertical thread and BAM!...they are amazing. Thank you so much for this!
I just discovered your channel and I love your tutorial, I have been so stuck on stitching over one from the charts and this is the best explanation yet! Thank you…new subscriber here!
Thank you for the one over one tutorial - I'm new to linen and all the tips you give are greatly appreciated - I love seeing your chart collection - I have chosen 4 to put on my to do list
Thanks for the fun ,educational video. I had never even thought about stitching with the verticle thread. It makes perfect sense. Your dog's are just adorable. I love you incorporating them into your video. Take care. I look forward to your next one.
You have quickly become one of my favorite flosstubers! Your projects are beautiful and you always have good little "stories' to share. When you showed your Halloween pillow finish and said you'd trimmed it with yarn I said "What?! I never would have thought of that!" Brilliant! You showed "Night Walked Down" by the Blue Flower and I have stitched that design. I used a piece of Shale aida by Picture this Plus and it just about did me in. The fabric was too soft and I continuously made mistakes I had to correct. When I finally got it finished I put it in a box hoping to never see it again. However, it is a beautiful piece and I'm sure that someday I'll get brave enough to dig it back out and take it to a framer. I hope you have better luck with yours when you stitch it up. Thanks for sharing and...See you next time! Take care. Deanna
Thank you so much for such kind words. I appreciate it so much. You should go ahead and frame night walked down. You will enjoy seeing it and that you finished it no matter the issues you had. I have them once in awhile myself. But we persevere and know we made it.
Get Ivy Dry for poison ivy. It’s a spray. Stops the itch and dries it up. Only thing I use when I get it. Great stuff. Your dogs are adorable! Great Halloween projects. Both are so cute.
Thanks so much for the stitching demo now I know how to do it correctly and I think the pillow looks Best with black trim love 💕 your beautiful fur babies.
Great tips and tricks! Your demonstration made the techniques very clear. I know I will rewatch when it comes time to stitch over one. I hope all goes well with you husband’s next surgery. Be well. Jennifer
Hello! Love your videos! I love your finish and your starts. You did a great job explaining how to stitch on linen. I stitch on Aida and I like stitching on Aida. I have wanted to try linen but I am not sure. I am sure if you stitch long enough on linen it becomes first hand, I just don’t want to think about it..LOL maybe one day!? Love your Pomeranians. They are so cute! Happy stitching!
All of your videos are wonderful. So happy you started your channel. This video was my favorite so far. Your Halloween pillow is exceptional. The stitching tutorial was exceptional and creative. Thank for sharing your charts. Thank you. Thank you.
Loved the video. I laughed when you talked about the squirrel charts and how the autumn squirrel looked so thin. I thought the same thing! Thanks for showing all the charts!
Thank you so much for that great demonstration of stitching over 1! I've never done it before and I have a piece coming up that requires it. I've been searching for a clear explanation of how to do it, and yours was so wonderfully demonstrated...thank you! I love your finish of Boo Whoo. The colors look so vibrant!
I would be interested in how you make your suspenders. Also I would like a little tutorial on how you attach fabric to scroll frames. I just inherited a few, but I am all thumbs. I use hoops or q snaps. Your kitten pillow is adorable.
The Boo Whoo pillow is adorable. I appreciate you sharing that you added an extra half inch to the bottom fabric so that you can still see the full x-stitch due to the pillow settling.
Thank you for another wonderful video. Your demo was fantastic! Thank you for the clear explanation. I will be watching it again. Your finishes are perfect! You did a beautiful job on them. ❤️ seeing your furry kids. I hope Tanner feels better soon.

Loved the video as always! Thank you for the tutorial and explanation. I have been considering trying 1 over 1 and your tutorial was a definite help. Love meeting the fur babies ❤
I liked your demonstration on stitching over two on linen. I started a chart on linen yesterday and I lucked out by started in the right spot so now after your demo I will remember where to start. Thank you.

Keepsakes is my local cross stitch store!
I love your Halloween stitching and finishing! I have the cats pattern by Luminous Fiber Arts also. Can’t wait to start stitching on it. It looks like an old-fashioned Halloween design which I love!!! Your puppies are adorable! We have 3 pups, Lucy is a silver-gray Staffordshire Terrier and she is 11, but acts like she’s 2! Athena is our 4 year old black lab/Australian Shepherd mix, and Luna the black and white Mimi Pomeranian will be a year old on December 19. Aren’t dogs wonderful!!!! Lucy sleeps with my husband and I, and the other 2 sleep with son. Hope you husband’s eyes are better. I enjoyed your video. Take care and see you next time. 🎃

Hi Deanna. You certainly did not seem "off" to me! Sure hope your little guy feels better really soon - that cough is probably wearing him out. Well - where to start! Your broom finish is just awesome! Well done. Loved the Spring sampler as well - beautiful stitching. Thanks for the tutorial. I was with you till you started with the 1 x 1. But that's OK - so far I'm always 2 x 2 so I won't worry about it till I have to. Loved your B patterns. I'll have to go back and look at the other B's. I just don't remember them and what's a little more enabling?? Thanks! Steph from NJ
Great tutorial! I think your explanation of the over one stitching is extremely helpful. Thank you! I love your FFO’s, they both turned out so nicely. The broom looks fantastic, especially with your beautiful stitching and the colorful background fabric you found in your fabric stash. And the Halloween pillow is such a great idea, and I love your fabric and trim choices! Well done!! It’s fun meeting your dogs, thanks for showing them. Take care.

This is my first time and have never been on a retreat and crossing my fingers I will be able to travel medically since it is so far off . Have a great week and hope you can get some stitching in . Just love your halloween finish
