Every year India is giving loan to you (which you cannot return it back ) to make up your trade deficit of at least 14 billion Dollar. Otherwise you have to starve.

Railway line through Bangladesh will link Northern Bangladesh and West Bengal which would promote economic development in those remote areas of Bangladesh. Why that is bad.
India has proposed that it will accept Taka for Bangladesh's imports from India. That will save at least 14 billion Dollars every year. Bangladesh depends on India for everything. If it can pay in terms of Taka, it will save every year a lot of foreign currency.
Tista is not a problem. Give the contract to build the barrage to India, the problem will be solved immediately. Mamta Begum cannot do anything if the project is inside Bangladesh.

Before making this idi#otic comments you should have correct & clear information. India is not Switzerland, not country of honey, butter & milk and Bangladesh is not Burundi or Malawi. Economy of both country is at par in almost all indicators. India has given $8 bn dollars as loan 14 years back in Papers not in practical, actual allotment is only 85 cr. dollars 2024, even those are India's interest related projects where Bangladesh has no benefit/expectation.
Bangladesh economy is $459 bn dollars(2022), 2nd largest in this region. You can not contain Bangladesh for long time. Regime does not exists for ever, everything must be changed with regime changes.
If India thinks itself 8 times powerful china is her equal rival then Bangladesh can easily defend herself 8 timers powerful India.
Will India allow us to construct BD-Doklam(China) rail route? If not, why we will allow them to endanger our sovereignty ?
