Did you try it on a curve? That’s where I can’t get them to work. And I noticed that if the fabric starts to come out of the attachment, pull slightly to the right, not the left. Instinct says pull left but that just makes it worse.
I have not tried this one on a curve. Rolled hems generally don’t work great on curves unless they are very very small. Like 1/8 inch. Yeah pushing the fabric to the right forces it around the roll of the foot. Pulling to the left removes it from the roll. They definitely take some getting use to. Thanks for watching 💖
I've often wondered how these sewing feet work. And, you make it seem so easy to use them. TYSM for sharing your videos with us. Love your channel. Take care, and, God Bless !!! 😻❣️😍👍
I too just bought a set of rollers, and your video not only shows a great up close shot of how to use them along with an explanation, but also that they negotiate an already present seam-junction.

I have the same attachment 3 and 6mm, sometimes I know how to work with them sometimes it doesn't want to roll the hem nicely, I'm not sure what's the problem On the seams I have a same problem, sometimes it feeds but sometimes it stick in the attachment I use 99.9% of time stretchy fabric Maybe I have to practice more with these attachments, anyway thank you for this video and everything you do, I've learned so much from you ❤
That's really interesting, I don't think I've seen an attachment that uses the needle plate screws to hold it down (instead of the attachment screws to the right of the needle plate). I suspect a lot of folks are gonna be raiding the office supply cabinet for some blu-tack to stick it down to their domestic machines!
I loved this video and it perfectly explained how to use my new fabric rolling feet. Unfortunately, my machine doesn’t have a hole to attach my new rolling feet.😢 but thank you for your helpful tips!
Same, just drill a small hole in the plastic and run a small screw in! It’s adjustable left and right so just put the hem roller far enough in front just off center of your foot. Also I understand this may penetrate your removable storage casing, check inside to ensure you won’t be drilling into any hardware. Mark your location then remove it (if possible) to drill then re install. Works great. 👍 Cheers!
Hi. My name is Samantha. I am from North Carolina. I recently purchased and received, along with the presser foot in the video, a few different presser feet for different hems. I purchased them from Temu and they can with no instructions. Can you help?😊

Portable machine has a different looking hem foot, usually called wide hem foot, the foot and the rolled hem is attached together with a screw and can be change on how wide you like your hem. It has 7 sizes, the widest is 1 inch

This was really interesting, but I really wish you'd included a link or actual details about exactly which foot you're using

Ich hatte mich auch gefragt, ob sich die Anschaffung lohnen würde und es sieht gut aus, danke fürs zeigen!

Thank you for watching. If you don’t have one with a big curl like this I would try it cause it goes over the seams so easy! Happy sewing 🧵
I bought tow difrent sizes today and im obssesd thank you for sharing the way to use it❤
Welcome 🤗 They are awesome
That item is awesome. ❤
I highly recommend buying one.
Just bought a set of rollers. Thank you for showing how it is done!
@@lisaharmon5619 awesome 👏 You are going to love these!

That worked so much nicer than what i have.

@@samiswan7591 Welcome. You could try using double sided tape.
I got the rolled hem feet but my machine doesn't have a screw there to attach it. 😢

What type of sewing machine do those attachments work on? Most new machines are not compatible to the foot adapter.
@@zukemex45 It’s an industrial machine.
I got a set of these for Xmas with no instructions. I’ve seen the ads for them but still no instructions. Thanks for saving me a lot of frustration.

What kind of machine are you using? Every machine I have or have seen has the bobbin in the front and I can't screw the attachment on.
I have seen bobbins in several locations, neither being in the back. Maybe one day I will.
What is the brand of that attachment?

How do you get that screw to loosen? I’ve tried different size screw drivers, power screw driver, and wd40 and other lubricants but it won’t loosen.
Did you strip it maybe? I’m not sure what you should do.
Will this work on an old Kenmore sewing machine?
I am not sure. You might need to use a double stick tape.
What brand is that attachment? It seems very user friendly .

Mine doesn’t either so I just taped it on each side, holding it securely.
