Robby progressively going into depression as he grew older broke my heart and I started seeing him in a new light. That scene really stuck with me all these years

Sebastian from Stardew Valley reminds me of Robbie and i cant unsee it.
1) He put the threat out there to scare Dipper out, he didnt expect Dipper to accept either and once he did, backing up wasnt a choice anymore. You will see how hesitant he is once they really meet.
2) Dipper is not your usual early teenager boy and Robin knows that, instead of seeing Dipper for his age he sees him for his actions which is a lot maturer than his real age.
3) Robin is a character that kinda embodies the 'im emo tough guy, you don't wanna mess with me' and he does it for both Wendy's attention and also for being 'cool'. But Dipper is way more cooler than he is and he knows that. Its a huge amount of jealousy, hence the beefing.
4) His character type needs to put somebody down and make fun of someone to feel superior and cool (and their whole group is in that mindset actually, thats why Thompson is an essential in their friend group dynamic) and Robin doesnt have anyone else to look down on to feel better other than Dipper.
Robbie looks great!But he’s pretty chaotic not going to lie!But you should draw Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland next.

I love Robbie for being the amalgamation of every emo kid trope imaginable. XD I had friends who all did various "Robbie" things, and he's an exaggerated version of all of it.
