The standards for the 90s is the same as today (mass and conditioning) its just that guys today must take more roids and therfore need to compromise their abs and midsection. Whatever aestetich qualities they had in the 90s (80s and 70s too) was mainly coincidental and due to what was available back. I mean i like dorian but you can hardly call him aestethic he was just the most meaty grainy man on stage
They were both correct! I like Brandon Curry! His 2019 Arnold Package was great! What he brought to the O that year was mediocre. Hadi Chopan was the clear winner in 2019. Period.
I think the main reason is genetics back then only guys with most gifted genetis would show up for bodybuilding nd the quality of gear was better now you now it's chinese stuff you can't even find real anavar which is sort of a beginer steroid
Dexter Jackson had to my eyes the absolutely PERFECT physique and should have won way more than just once. I have massive respect for Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler, they were both staggeringly HUGE bodybuilders but neither had the aesthetics of Dexter Jackson. Jackson should have had 8 Olympias.
Only Hadi Choopan could survive on such a tough lineup. High-class muscle quality. His hardness and condition is unmatched, especially in the front shots.
Dorian Yates can't talk about anybody he had one of the ugliest physiques on the planet and Jay was just big and blocky. Some of the guys today have way better physiques then both of them
