Something truly beautiful about the concept of this. Cause it's a memory we all have to some degree. It's truly amazing how much this connects people. A memory long gone and very specific to a specific time period.
I have such visceral memories of being a kid and getting ready for bed while my parents watched all their 80s prime time shows. My bedroom shared a wall with the living room and my stepdad had these massive custom speakers so shows like Miami Vice and stuff really rumbled. 😆 Thank you for taking the time to comment so thoughtfully!
You do these videos SO well. A lot of the other "in another room" videos can make the rain too loud or the tv doesnt actually sound like its coming from another room at all (which is mighty disappointing). You strike the p e r f e c t balance and also the best images for the video! I appreciate them so much, i imagine it's a lot of work to create these 🙏🏽 (please keep making them though!!)
Thank you! My basis for these is recreating what it sounded like when I was a kid and my parents would watch TV in the living room (which was right up against my bedroom). I'm exploring the idea of other ambient sounds instead of rain, but I'm glad this current vibe is working for you. I have PLENTY of source material for the television shows and I want to keep creating as much as I can.
@@KBSVHS I have only seen ONE video of all of youtube that had this aesthetic with a hockey game on. (Yes, I'm Canadian) and the ambient was very loud. If you can top that, you'll get a nightly repeat ad roll for years :D
All my stuff is pulled from true vintage media so I'll keep a watch out for any hockey games!

yeah Wow, nostalgia hits hard with this one when I was kid with that kind of bedroom asthenic like that's my bedroom but different layout and it's more me then 1990's in my own bedroom with my big sisters rooms right next by who would be watching TV after they put me down for bedtime.

I don't right now, only because rain is the easiest white noise effect to overlay on these vids. I may explore some other options for future projects, but it means I'll likely have to record my own sounds.
