I just found your channel today and I must say, you have blessed me so! I pray God continues your healing. Your sharing of your life, the stories and the climb out of despair with God's help, is so inspiring! Thank you for your openness. I wanted to share that I rededicated my life to the Lord back in 2019. I bought myself a new Bible for my birthday... A KJV wide margin Large print (because of my old age eyes, lol). I held it in my hands and wondered, where do I start? So, I grabbed a red ballpoint pen and a yellow highlighter and started at the beginning... As I read, whenever God's name (or a word used for God, like Almighty, I AM...) Showed up in the text, I circled it in red and then highlighted it yellow. When I looked back, the pages just glowed with God's name! I have myself permission not to have to figure it all out that first time through, but just to refresh my mind and heart about what was between the covers of that book. Next, I grabbed green and blue and this time through I underlined the words 'Israel', 'Jerusalem', etc... And places God had the people go to, or places that his glory was seen. I did this several times, with different colors for different themes... And do you know what? God started revealing himself to me, I noticed repeating themes, started collecting scriptures that spoke to me or had a message I could share with others. I sat down and wrote out, by hand, my first scripture journal. When my kids saw it, they asked for one, so I made them each one. Every time I read through God's word, I see something new (and underline or highlight it-very colorful pages now!) As God continues to reveal himself to me. So I encourage everyone to give yourself permission to just start with one goal in mind... Finding the name of God in this beautiful collection of HIS WORDS! You don't have to figure out what it all means the first time, because as you seek, He will reveal it to you! Be blessed sister! (I don't even know your name, except Mrs Kneady) Thank you! Keep sharing your heart as God lays it upon you. Isaiah 34:16. Seek out of the book of the Lord and read.... Proverbs 1:23. I will make known my words to you... Joshua 3:9. The words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life... Amen!

Heather, where to start. I have been drawn to your channel since I found you on TH-cam and I couldn’t figure out why but I was always enchanted by your voice your mannerisms and your compassion for what you do. When I found this post I knew why. The Lord has been calling me to get back into His word and I’ve been struggling, struggling to open the good book, struggling with a heavy heart, struggling to even find a church where I belong. Hi Heather, Boy was this useful information…I have been listening to this pastor that is sending me all over my Bible and I only have one ribbon! I need the last marker you showed or the Etsy markers you have. Great ideas and information. Also, I agree with you on the pens and markers. I don’t like when they bleed through, or will not underline. I have written in any margin of my Bible, and have run out of space on some pages, so when I saw the area to write that you have in that Creative Bible, I was excited! Thank you for this information. Thank you so much for this video! I have been a born-again believer for 25 years (wow time flies). These tips are excellent for anyone getting into Bible study. The most wonderful thing to me about God's Word is how as we mature, God will show us new things and call us up higher and higher, bit by bit. Hi, Heather!! Love this!! I write in my Bible, using highliters, ink, and make personal notes in margins. My Dad (nearly 93 years old) has been a minister for nearly 75 years, and has done missionary work around the world. My Mom, who passed 8 months ago, had given it to my Dad, as a wedding gift. They were married nearly 75 years. My Dad always had so many personal notations in his Bible's margins, and had color coded highlited verses, and underlined verses, covering all those many years. His Bible was very well used and very worn, and he carried it everywhere, all the time, as he was always ready to serve God, whenever and wherever he happened to be, and to whomever needed him. Unfortunately, on one trip to Germany, his Bible was taken from his luggage, and was never returned. He felt that God gave it to the person who really needed it. We had everyone praying for whomever had possession of his Bible, that God would speak to their spirit, and lead them to read and study, and maybe have my Dad's personal notations touch their hearts. I think his example is why I make notations in my Bible. I make notes, and add dates, and am amazed at how things have transpired by comparing these personal notes, later. I belong to a 'texting' scripture group, where each lady covers a day of the week, offering a scripture and remarks to consider, for her particular day. My specific day to share is each Sunday. We also share prayer requests and needs. Most of us have never actually met each other, living in various parts of the country, but our church attendance and faith are our commonality. This small group of sisters has been a source of spiritual growth, joy of grandbabies born, mourning of children and parents passing, support and prayers for health issues, etc, but has been such a source of common strength for each of us, knowing that we all have each other's backs, no matter what we are facing. I sincerely appreciate you sharing your 'system,' and look forward to sharing your ideas with my other God sisters. Thank you, Heather!!! All I have is my KJV Bible, leatherbound with my name embossed on the front, the only one I use, had it since the 1980's, all marked up with so many colors, the spine pretty well compromised, but not color coded. I've never been *that* organized, goodness(wish I was!). My husband is an ordained minister since that time, we did street ministry in red light districts in Dayton, Ohio back then, and I used to attend Bible studies years ago. He does teaching on Facebook, has many studies there he put out for the edification of others. Stopping in to say hello to my sister! ~Cynthia

Love this video. I did not know there was such a thing as Creative Bible. I will definitely look into it as well as highlighters. Years ago I tried highlighting and got frustrated because it bleed through. I have a Daily Devotional which I love. It has 366 days of coloring and meditation on the words from the Bible. I use colored pencils in it.
Such great tips, never heard of color coding, I’m going to look into that. When I’m reading my Bible and I highlighted from a time before, it be nice to have it colored to know the reference to why I highlighted. Smart!!!
To this day, I cannot make myself write in my Bible. It was drilled in my head not to by my mother. I have to stock up on notebooks during back to school sales.
I was taught that too but when I became a teen I to,d my mom I wanted to take notes to study and she bought me a bible to do that. I’m 57 and have it to this day. I’ve showed both my kids who are now grown and always told them it was ok if you’re doing it to study and ready. It’s a tool for life. I do have a nicer one, now worn out, that I don’t write in. I also don’t write in the family bible on the coffee table
@@Vivaldilover In 2020 when I started reading back through my Bible that January, I noticed a chronological Bible reading Bible study on my YouVersion app. I really enjoyed it a lot! It offered purposeful and detailed connections of the scriptures between the old and new testaments. That certainly opened up more understanding for me.😊

Heather your such an inspiration! I lost my daughter of 32 of a heart attack. Nov 1 2022. I have dark moments Some times I think I am mad at God. Then I start crying and praying God I love you. Your will is always the best. I’m grieving so hard , I don’t know how to live without my oldest daughter. Any words of wisdom I appreciate. Love and God bless you and your family.

I love that you love THE KING JAMES VERSION of the HOLY BIBLE! It is the truest holy bible in the English version and has been around for almost 450 years. 70 men that were scholars of soooo many languages including Aramaic,Arabic,Greek,Hebrew and lots of others. it took them 7 years to decipher the texts into English under the authority of King James. It was a wonderful undertaking by these men with the help of God ! I am so thankful for you and your family to be able to get into the Word of God as much as you do! I have the same Creative Bible and I love it. If I want to read a different easier read translation, I just use my iPad. KJV just remains my go to. 💖💝💗
Sometimes it can be a challenge! I use my ESV Study Bible or CSV Study for easier breakdowns when I need it. 😂🙏🏻❤️ The Lord has me in ALL the versions!

Hi thank you for sharing! It’s exciting to make Bible study so pretty. I was saved 4 years ago after turning away fully from Jesus. I saw a documentary explaining how Christ was just a fairytale. After much struggle and months of torment from demonic oppression the Lord himself hit me with His truth. Jesus revealed himself to me. He took my blinders off and I could see for the first time. I felt his true love for the first time. It was like I had changed from an ugly caterpillar to a butterfly. I was finally free from the heavy chains of sin. Never the same, a new creation. My husband helped me through it all, comforting and supportive. Chris LaSala’s ministry changed my heart forever. The lord used his channel to change me. All the Glory to the Lord for bring me to the cup of salvation. Thank you Jesus. I pray this helps someone in some way…
I have this Bible and love it. I started coloring pages in 2016. Its been sitting on my noight stand, and i recently took it up and started my journaling again. I still have plenty of pages to color.
I like ur system. I didn't know they made Bible highlighters. I just inherited a special book to me. Its my moms Bible that I remember her using my whole life. It is filled with notes and highlights. I love this.. I have a similar bible and I too have spruced it up with tabs & fabric etc.. I also have my bible that almost is unusable, since I have had it since I was 9 from my parents and I have written notes in every page margin etc.. It is literally my diary, so many loved ones and pastors have passed away and when I see what they preached or said to me in a note I wrote , it makes my heart so happy.. Thanks for sharing..
I am very much a creature of habit in many aspects of my life. I've bought quite a few different pens and highlighters over the last couple years but always go back to using my cheaper wax highlighters from walmart, some crayola crayons, and a pen I got free from church 😅. I still love seeing what others use for their study time. - Renee

I bought the Bible and the Mr. Pen pastels. I need some motivation. I am slacking. I watched your weight loss video and I’m going to try out the no sugar and more exercise. Keto is not for me. I have tried it many times and I drop weight super fast, but then I tend to start feeling really bad. Passing out or getting super shaky. Just way too much cannot haves and can have too many things I’d rather not. I love eggs and avocados, but after a while it makes me wanna puke 🤮 looking at it. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. You are a blessing and the most upbeat person I think in existence. 💕
I lost my husband of 35 years almost three years ago and I will be 80 years old in May of 2023. I thank God every morning for another precious day of life. My husband would want me to live life to the fullest. I have actually never read a Bible. Do you have a recommendation of which one to start with? May I, with gentle caution, suggest you look into the beliefs of some of the teachers of the Bible studies you're currently listening to? For instance, Tony Evans believes in Pelagianism (the denial of original sin), Inclusivism (you don’t have to be a Christian to be saved), and Limited Theism (the denial of God’s omnipotence). Those are some big red flags and have the potential to lead you astray from what the Bible says. Prayers you'll understand that I'm only saying this to save you some pain down the road. What a great video. I really struggle with reading the bible. I have trouble understanding what I'm reading. So I bought the NLT bible. I want to grave with reading the bible. That's my goal in 2023.

Girl, I am a geek for God too! LOL I absolutely appreciate and love this video. I have been writing in my Bibles for years but never took the leap of faith into color markers because of bleeding into the next page. I really thank you for taking the time and going through each brand and explaining what and why. I think I'm going to end up buying multiples of the best sets of things so I can pass them out to my loved ones.
I have always written in my bible and would apologize. I had a very wise mentor tell me one time “don’t apologize for writing in your bible! It’s God speaking to you and you are carrying on a legacy when your children inherit your books.” Since then I think of my baby’s years from now after I am gone reading the exact words God spoke to me and speaking to them in the future. I have learned that there are bibles published with multiple translations in one. The article I found explained the different types of translations and this bible includes 4 columns, each a different type, on each page you open. That will be my next bible. I think it will help me with my studies to be able to see it worded in the different translations.
I just ordered this Bible from Amazon and looking forward to receiving it…my Green Bible (made from natural sources and the inks are environmentally conscious) and Jesus’s words and verses related to His Life are printed in green ink…that Bible will be going to my friend Craig who recently has awoken to The Lord’s Grace and needs a Bible of his own and I want to pass it along to someone who will appreciate it…and his favorite color is green 😀🙏👍 The Creative Bible appeals to me as a former art student from years ago I like the idea of a “colorful” way to explore and immerse myself in God’s and Jesus’ word. 😀🙏👍

As some of the comments mentioned, writing in a Bible was frowned upon when I was growing up but I started “dipping my pen in the ink” so to speak a few years ago and this just motivates me even more. Thank you for this video Heather. One of my goals for 2023 is to dive deeper into His word. I read the Bible and have my quiet time everyday, but I don't study it like I should. I already use the Mr. Bible highlighters but have put the set with the pens in my Amazon cart to purchase with some of my Christmas money. Love this!! And I love that you use so many different Bibles. Me too!! I own The Scriptures Bible too and love that one. My 3 that I have clung to for the last few years is the Complete Jewish Study Bible, The Scriptures and Tree of Life. I use Tree of Life version for my main one. My church uses NKJV/KJV and I have found that following along with them in the TLV works really well for me. Love the Hebrew words. The Jewish Study Bible helped me learn the Hebrew words so I could move on without needing the glossary anymore. These bibles really connect me with the roots of our faith and the fact that we are grafted into Israel, we are ONE new man in Messiah. ❤️ Just really helps with the original context of everything and helps with the connections of the New and old covenant. I just so love you and appreciate you, even though I've never met you. We are sisters in the faith! And I feel blessed to have found your channel. I was drawn in when someone shared a video of you sharing in the hospital and your situation broke my heart. You are such a light in this world and you certainly have a mission and a calling for such a time as this. 💖
Sweet Heather,I am on TH-cam,but not Facebook. I only know how to access you here. You reminded me of me. Years ago, I studied the Word for several hours a day also. I too have several versions of the Bible. I Wondered about that I thought about getting that Bible, but then I thought well I’m not sure….. So glad you have it. Sadly, I have not been studying like I used to. I can tell it within myself. It is so beautiful to get lost in Gods word for hours at a time. And I have literally turned my back and not done that. I know He’s there He’s waiting, I just need some sort of unction. I’ll let life‘s burdens get to me and I am sorely ashamed of that🥲. God called me to be an intercessor,(At that time I didn’t even know what it meant). He would literally wake me out of a dead sleep and tell me, PRAY!!!!! Of course many times I didn’t know what to pray for or about but he would lead me there if I would just start saying “Lord I don’t know what this is about but you do,”and as I prayed he would lead me to what I needed to be praying about. I miss that so very much. I am so glad that you reviewed that Bible because I really do want to get one (although I probably have 20 Bibles here in the house) lol. Heather, where to start. I have been drawn to your channel since I found you on TH-cam and I couldn’t figure out why but I was always enchanted by your voice your mannerisms and your compassion for what you do. When I found this post I knew why. The Lord has been calling me to get back into His word and I’ve been struggling, struggling to open the good book, struggling with a heavy heart, struggling to even find a church where I belong. Great ideas and information. Also, I agree with you on the pens and markers. I don’t like when they bleed through, or will not underline. The most wonderful thing to me about God's Word is how as we mature, God will show us new things and call us up higher and higher, bit by bit. Hi, Heather!! Love this!! I write in my Bible, using highliters, ink, and make personal notes in margins. My Dad (nearly 93 years old) has been a minister for nearly 75 years, and has done missionary work around the world. My Mom, who passed 8 months ago, had given it to my Dad, as a wedding gift. They were married nearly 75 years. My Dad always had so many personal notations in his Bible's margins, and had color coded highlited verses, and underlined verses, covering all those many years. His Bible was very well used and very worn, and he carried it everywhere, all the time, as he was always ready to serve God, whenever and wherever he happened to be, and to whomever needed him. Unfortunately, on one trip to Germany, his Bible was taken from his luggage, and was never returned. He felt that God gave it to the person who really needed it. We had everyone praying for whomever had possession of his Bible, that God would speak to their spirit, and lead them to read and study, and maybe have my Dad's personal notations touch their hearts. I think his example is why I make notations in my Bible. I make notes, and add dates, and am amazed at how things have transpired by comparing these personal notes, later. I belong to a 'texting' scripture group, where each lady covers a day of the week, offering a scripture and remarks to consider, for her particular day. My specific day to share is each Sunday. We also share prayer requests and needs. Most of us have never actually met each other, living in various parts of the country, but our church attendance and faith are our commonality. This small group of sisters has been a source of spiritual growth, joy of grandbabies born, mourning of children and parents passing, support and prayers for health issues, etc, but has been such a source of common strength for each of us, knowing that we all have each other's backs, no matter what we are facing. I sincerely appreciate you sharing your 'system,' and look forward to sharing your ideas with my other God sisters. Thank you, Heather!!! May Almighty God continue to bless you abundantly, and continue to use you to inspire others, and witness to them of God's grace, mercy, and love!! You are loved and prayed for!!! 😘 🙏

All I have is my KJV Bible, leatherbound with my name embossed on the front, the only one I use, had it since the 1980's, all marked up with so many colors, the spine pretty well compromised, but not color coded. I've never been *that* organized, goodness(wish I was!). My husband is an ordained minister since that time, we did street ministry in red light districts in Dayton, Ohio back then, and I used to attend Bible studies years ago. He does teaching on Facebook, has many studies there he put out for the edification of others. Stopping in to say hello to my sister! ~Cynthia

Love this video. I did not know there was such a thing as Creative Bible. I will definitely look into it as well as highlighters. Years ago I tried highlighting and got frustrated because it bleed through. I have a Daily Devotional which I love. It has 366 days of coloring and meditation on the words from the Bible. I use colored pencils in it.
Such great tips, never heard of color coding, I’m going to look into that. When I’m reading my Bible and I highlighted from a time before, it be nice to have it colored to know the reference to why I highlighted. Smart!!!
Definitely helps break it down and help’s understand what you are studying a bit more helpful.
To this day, I cannot make myself write in my Bible. It was drilled in my head not to by my mother. I have to stock up on notebooks during back to school sales.

I was taught that too but when I became a teen I to,d my mom I wanted to take notes to study and she bought me a bible to do that. I’m 57 and have it to this day. I’ve showed both my kids who are now grown and always told them it was ok if you’re doing it to study and ready. It’s a tool for life. I do have a nicer one, now worn out, that I don’t write in. I also don’t write in the family bible on the coffee table
@@Vivaldilover In 2020 when I started reading back through my Bible that January, I noticed a chronological Bible reading Bible study on my YouVersion app. I really enjoyed it a lot! It offered purposeful and detailed connections of the scriptures between the old and new testaments. That certainly opened up more understanding for me.😊

I love that you love THE KING JAMES VERSION of the HOLY BIBLE! It is the truest holy bible in the English version and has been around for almost 450 years. 70 men that were scholars of soooo many languages including Aramaic,Arabic,Greek,Hebrew and lots of others. it took them 7 years to decipher the texts into English under the authority of King James. It was a wonderful undertaking by these men with the help of God ! I am so thankful for you and your family to be able to get into the Word of God as much as you do! I have the same Creative Bible and I love it. If I want to read a different easier read translation, I just use my iPad. KJV just remains my go to. 💖💝💗
Sometimes it can be a challenge! I use my ESV Study Bible or CSV Study for easier breakdowns when I need it. 😂🙏🏻❤️ The Lord has me in ALL the versions!

Hi thank you for sharing! It’s exciting to make Bible study so pretty. I was saved 4 years ago after turning away fully from Jesus. I saw a documentary explaining how Christ was just a fairytale. After much struggle and months of torment from demonic oppression the Lord himself hit me with His truth. Jesus revealed himself to me. He took my blinders off and I could see for the first time. I felt his true love for the first time. It was like I had changed from an ugly caterpillar to a butterfly. I was finally free from the heavy chains of sin. Never the same, a new creation. My husband helped me through it all, comforting and supportive. Chris LaSala’s ministry changed my heart forever. The lord used his channel to change me. All the Glory to the Lord for bring me to the cup of salvation. Thank you Jesus. I pray this helps someone in some way…

Its been sitting on my noight stand, and i recently took it up and started my journaling again.

I love this.. I have a similar bible and I too have spruced it up with tabs & fabric etc.. I also have my bible that almost is unusable, since I have had it since I was 9 from my parents and I have written notes in every page margin etc.. It is literally my diary, so many loved ones and pastors have passed away and when I see what they preached or said to me in a note I wrote , it makes my heart so happy.. Thanks for sharing..

I am very much a creature of habit in many aspects of my life. I've bought quite a few different pens and highlighters over the last couple years but always go back to using my cheaper wax highlighters from walmart, some crayola crayons, and a pen I got free from church 😅. I still love seeing what others use for their study time. - Renee

I bought the Bible and the Mr. Pen pastels. I need some motivation. I am slacking.
I watched your weight loss video and I’m going to try out the no sugar and more exercise. Keto is not for me. I have tried it many times and I drop weight super fast, but then I tend to start feeling really bad. Passing out or getting super shaky.
Just way too much cannot haves and can have too many things I’d rather not. I love eggs and avocados, but after a while it makes me wanna puke 🤮 looking at it.

I lost my husband of 35 years almost three years ago and I will be 80 years old in May of 2023. I thank God every morning for another precious day of life. My husband would want me to live life to the fullest. I have actually never read a Bible. Do you have a recommendation of which one to start with? May I, with gentle caution, suggest you look into the beliefs of some of the teachers of the Bible studies you're currently listening to? For instance, Tony Evans believes in Pelagianism (the denial of original sin), Inclusivism (you don’t have to be a Christian to be saved), and Limited Theism (the denial of God’s omnipotence). Those are some big red flags and have the potential to lead you astray from what the Bible says.

Girl, I am a geek for God too! LOL I absolutely appreciate and love this video. I have been writing in my Bibles for years but never took the leap of faith into color markers because of bleeding into the next page. I really thank you for taking the time and going through each brand and explaining what and why. I think I'm going to end up buying multiples of the best sets of things so I can pass them out to my loved ones.
I have always written in my bible and would apologize. I had a very wise mentor tell me one time “don’t apologize for writing in your bible! It’s God speaking to you and you are carrying on a legacy when your children inherit your books.” Since then I think of my baby’s years from now after I am gone reading the exact words God spoke to me and speaking to them in the future. I have learned that there are bibles published with multiple translations in one. The article I found explained the different types of translations and this bible includes 4 columns, each a different type, on each page you open.
That will be my next bible.
I think it will help me with my studies to be able to see it worded in the different translations.
I just ordered this Bible from Amazon and looking forward to receiving it…my Green Bible (made from natural sources and the inks are environmentally conscious) and Jesus’s words and verses related to His Life are printed in green ink…that Bible will be going to my friend Craig who recently has awoken to The Lord’s Grace and needs a Bible of his own and I want to pass it along to someone who will appreciate it…and his favorite color is green 😀🙏👍

As some of the comments mentioned, writing in a Bible was frowned upon when I was growing up but I started “dipping my pen in the ink” so to speak a few years ago and this just motivates me even more. Love this!! And I love that you use so many different Bibles. Me too!! I own The Scriptures Bible too and love that one. My 3 that I have clung to for the last few years is the Complete Jewish Study Bible, The Scriptures and Tree of Life. I use Tree of Life version for my main one. My church uses NKJV/KJV and I have found that following along with them in the TLV works really well for me. Love the Hebrew words. The Jewish Study Bible helped me learn the Hebrew words so I could move on without needing the glossary anymore. These bibles really connect me with the roots of our faith and the fact that we are grafted into Israel, we are ONE new man in Messiah. ❤️ Just really helps with the original context of everything and helps with the connections of the New and old covenant.

So glad you have it. Sadly, I have not been studying like I used to. I can tell it within myself. It is so beautiful to get lost in Gods word for hours at a time. And I have literally turned my back and not done that. I know He’s there He’s waiting, I just need some sort of unction. I’ll let life‘s burdens get to me and I am sorely ashamed of that🥲.
God called me to be an intercessor,(At that time I didn’t even know what it meant).
He would literally wake me out of a dead sleep and tell me, PRAY!!!!!
Of course many times I didn’t know what to pray for or about but he would lead me there if I would just start saying “Lord I don’t know what this is about but you do,”and as I prayed he would lead me to what I needed to be praying about. I miss that so very much.
I am so glad that you reviewed that Bible because I really do want to get one (although I probably have 20 Bibles here in the house) lol.

🥰 Praise the Lord for one more day. Thank you for this video. I have been debating about purchasing one of the creative Bibles but did not know what products you could use successfully with them. I have been using my KJV Bible since I was 9 yrs old. I had to recover the leather spine on it as I have about wore it out.
I would love to see more on bible studding as I am just starting to read the bible and would love to learn how to study it. I read the NIV
