RS3K horns were rare on NS. The RS3K's on NS were on EX-BN SD40-2's. One Dash 9 had one too. These were the other NS SD40-2's that had RS3K's. NS 3471 (mutt) NS 3491 NS 3532 NS 3537 NS 3560
@@LocoProits not lol. while the fra did mandate decible regulations, the real reason why railroads turned away from leslies is because they are more expensive to maintain and get weaker way faster than most nathans, especially in cold weather. nathans do better in performance and in various weather conditions. theyre easier to maintain as well. leslies are still produced afaik, theyre just not standard on anything anymore

I've seen a few Warbonnets and Bluebonnets with Leslies, good times... Now I rarely hear any Leslies, but BNSF 529 still has it's Leslie to this day.
