King Charles Hosts Emir of Qatar at Sparkling State Banquet

King Charles has paid tribute to the "enduring friendship" between Britain and Qatar, as His Majesty hosted Qatar's Emir at a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace.
Queen Camilla attended the gathering, despite not taking part in outdoor elements of the Emir's two-day visit as she recovers from pneumonia. But Princess Kate was absent, as she continues a gradual return to public duties after she began treatment for cancer in February.
Among the 170 guests in the Buckingham Palace ballroom were David and Victoria Beckham, Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch.
