Of course the shelter is an almost certain death sentence. I don't blame any of the animals for being freaked out. Many of them have come from abusive homes and while on the street children are often cruel.
To see such a terrified little dog transform into a happy dog is just beautiful. That smile on his face with his new Mum and the way he kept looking up at her really warms my heart.

Cats and dogs go into heat within days of being rescued, dogs like Jax sleep deeply for the first time. Dogs often will relax when a leash is on them. They calm down in a crate faster than when loose in the back of your car.

Hi Kevin. The amputation changed A LOT! He was uncomfortable and miserable because of it... it was a dead limb that made him uncomfortable. He is much happier without it.
There was an abused little poodle running around In my neighborhood. Me and my sister decided to try and recuse him and we used all your tricks! It worked!!! I was so happy, we gave him to our local animal shelter. Hopefully he found a better home. Thank you for inspiring people, you guys are amazing 💗
Dogs, these wonderful animals, have shared our destiny for thousands of years. Sometimes I feel ashamed of being human when I see how some of my fellows treat our four-legged friends. Without them our species would probably have been less successful. They deserve our respect and affection. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to them!

Thank you for helping him . It's sad to see so many unwanted pets in the US while here in Canada , there's a huge demand for small dogs. Prices have soared during the pandemic . Maybe if you found some rescue partners here, you could get pets adopted here and make more space in your shelters .

Time after time I watch JoAnn anxiously interacting with a scared dog. Her nervous energy can lead to aggression. That's not the way. It traumatizes dogs and makes the transition from the street more distressing than necessary. She's been doing rescue work for some time, and it's frustrating to see this behavior continue. I do rescue. When approaching an animal, it's really important to be grounded and calm. Sense the individual's energy. When you're present, animals feel safer and rescues go much more smoothly.
Wonderful human beings showing there is compassion for animals less fortunate. Heart warming rescue. Bless you all for the work you do to help these innocent animals.

My brother and I not long ago spoke of our dear dog, Champ that disappeared from our home and was never seen again. My husband and I think of our cat, Blackie that we loved and also went missing. I won't even mention those darlings that have passed on! You're not alone in your sadness. 😿 🙏💕
