And I’m 💯 agreement with you! BUTTT R-Kelly only had one sound of our music ( I was in the video Step In the Name of Love) Steppin music can go from fast to slow from James Brown to Barbra Streisand! That the beauty of the dance! It’s not a one tempo flow!
I get it however the slow tempo doesn't have the same effect or makes me want to dance or watch !

I actually prefer slower music now but when I started Steppin 20 plus years ago I hated slow music! I use to called it sleepy time music! Lol
I think I appreciate the simplicity of the slower music now.

You can find out mostly on Facebook I posted upcoming events on my TH-cam community page! I’m headed to New York this weekend and then to Houston in October to teach but we step every day in Chicago! Of course at different venues.

The ‘Welcome to Miami Mix’ was debuting. I would like to think that it would be called‘Welcome to Miami’, but I can’t say for certain. DJ Mello Chris, was on the box! The 2nd mix is called Delta Sonic, it was created by DJ Calvin. Both gentlemen are Chicago DJs, and both songs are probably not Shazam-able. I hope this helps ❤️DJLadyLove

It’s funny you said that because it almost happened before! I only see us doing this dance it’s too embedded in Chicago culture! Plus it’s been seen on The Billboards, Vibe awards show, Ellen tv show and mostly ever news network…I just did something for Netflix.
