I was playing with 11 tour. Switches to 1000 tour. Oh my my. This is something different. As CKY mentioned, it takes time to settle, bit i did not feel the same. On first day itself, i was hitting good shot. May be coming from 11 tour helped me here. Wondering how the 1000z would perform. I decided to go for tour because of the price and very very happy.

If u want speed and not lose that much power try lining axforce 80 Jr. 5u. Its very light 75g but head heavy still packs power and also flexible good for beginners and less strain in your shoulders

Yeah I can’t understand the pros who use Arcsaber 11 pro for doubles lol Head balance is similair but swing speed is not! Also compact frame may throw off timing a bit. But if it were me, I would make the switch. Good luck!!!

But I think your review solidifies what I was expecting from this racket and might just bite the bullet in the months to come. Edit: Any chance you've gotten to try the tour? yeah go for it dude! it's a very rewarding racket once you can really use it. and no i haven't, and probably won't ever try it, sorry. I don't get review rackets and personally buy everything I review :p

Most definitely a manufacturing error, high end rackets don't instantly break during string snaps. However, I do see many complaints where the 1000z's durability is questionable
I think Weng Hong Yang just won the Denmark Open Singles yesterday with the 1000Z. Suits his fast & furious style. Not as powerful a smash as Lee Zii Jia's Ryuga, but better in every other way. Nice, comprehensive review you have here. Perfectly inline with most of what others are saying about the 1000Z being a superior overall experience than the 100ZZ. I aim to get the 1000 GAME when my racket breaks.
Nicely Explained. I just moved to this racket from 88D Pro and am having a bit of trouble adjusting to it. It is exactly like you said - shots going out, timing issues and my smashes are defended easily by opponents. I thought I made a mistake with this racket but I guess just need to adjust my shot timing and swing
I have cosmio aero tech 100, its head heavy . I recently moved from a 78g racket to this 81g racket. The back court is awesome but the defence and drives are painful literally. I am a defensive player and dare my opponents to be offensive, but after cosmio my drives and defence has been cut in half. Any suggestions?
For anyone reading this unless you are an advanced+ player, it's 99% skill and 1% racket. Don't be swayed by consumer culture. Pick a good enough racket and focus on mastering technique.
I already commented on your review of the 800 pro (I am getting the 1000z ^^) ... however, I cannot agree with your comparison to the AS 7 pro. You said that to you the balance feels similar to the AS 7 Pro. That racket was part of my test as well. Coming from the NR 750 I had little timing issues with the NF1000z even though it needed considerably more effort to engage the 'snap'. That was solved by concentrating on tightening the fingers on impact and came naturally after just a few swings. With the AS 7 Pro however, my timing was way off. The wrist movement was more similar to what I'm used to, but all the previous steps (legs, hip, torso, shoulder, arm) I had to start earlier or put more effort into in order to reach the shuttle in time. That felt really weird. I didn't put the rackets on a scale or measured the balance point, but imho the "headlight" for the 1000z checks out. Maybe that's due to you coming from a slower and more powerful 100zz (headheavy and stiff) compared to me coming from the nimble but power lacking NR750 (headlight medium)?
I ordered a Tour, heard many online say it's basically the same as Z, within placebo error margins. If I like it, I'll order a couple more. Thanks for the review, I'm hyped :))
@@Joshnaben10 Hey m8, I have three Tour racquets now, it took me probably 30 hours to get used to the new balance and weight, but now I love them. Loooooove them. I tried the new Exbolt strings, too. Not sure I tell a difference but I don't notice anything bad with them and since it's newer tech I suggest you give them a try too, if you're still using BG strings. GLHF
Did you manage to compared the 3U vs 4U 1000Z in terms of performance? I myself got the 4UG5 since all my other rackets are 4U but I've watched vids where the reviewers claim that 3U is a completely different beast.
I haven’t no. Also I don’t believe anyone that says such claims, I’ve used so many different 3U vs 4U rackets and there’s a marginal difference at best IMO
Try locating where the sound is from , if it's near the cap then it's most likely loose wood chips in the wooden grip , I had this problem when I just started using my 100zz a few more uses and the sound is gone !
I thought of getting the Nanoflare 1000z, but after seeing the durability issues with it, I think I might go for the 3rd Generation Astrox 88D Pro instead.
I’m used to it. It takes time to get adjusting to but honestly I can’t go back. Easier to move the racket/solid feeling + more punch. Wouldn’t say it’s easy to use tho

I just ordered it. Is it really fragile? I'm an intermediate player, currently using li-ning windstorm 700i, 79-+ grams with nanogy 95 string. I'm not really a good back court player.
Just got mine two days ago and i can relate to the oversteering theory. However, the way i feel, it is just a matter of getting used to it and use it in my favour. Felt very very easy to play with, and one of the easiest i have played with. I had Arc11Pro, ArcZSlash, Astrox99Pro, Armortec 800 Power/Technique, Isometric 65 and Nanospeed 8000 and Nanoflare Z Speed. Very easy to manouver and playing doubles with it is a walk on the park. Only played one singles match on the weekend so i cannot say my true verdict on it, but so far so good as well. Nice video, btw!

I don’t know fam. To me they feel about same. 1000z is more aerodynamic for sure but just feeling the weight in general they seem similair

Hi, does your Yonex racket make any clicking noise from the shaft/ferrule when you slightly bend the shaft?

Yes! 100%. The more mature the racket gets, the less fragile I suspect it to be. First production rackets were fragile but now not so bad
