We expect the notebooks and planners to arrive mid-September and anticipate preorders will start shipping the second half of September after all quality control is complete. Preorders will remain open until our shipment arrives and then listings will convert to ready-to-ship. We do not expect that we will sell out of planners during the preorder and fully expect to have sufficient stock to order RTS in the fall.

Whooooa the relationship between horizontal week + hourly dailies and vertical week + blank dailies makes SO MUCH SENSE! I've never heard anyone articulate thay before. 🤞🤞 that you'll come out with smaller sizes eventually!

1. I love that this is bundled. The way you bundled all months, weeks, days PLUS useful sections like trackers and the like are incredible. It's what I've always wanted in a planner. This is beyond. I am gooped and gagged.
2. The grids and lines are VISIBLE enough to help guide you. I don't think I will have issues ignoring the lines if I want to use the pages and switch up the layouts.
3. Additional useful deets like the week numbers, fonts, and spacing are laid out so well for visibility and functionality. I love that the week numbers are to the right side to not interfere with the functional spaces.
4. 4mm grids. Thank you Jesus!!
5. Weekly dashboard. Ugh. I love the good balance of space and structure.
6. Monthly recap and preview pages. Love this. I do monthly reflections and this is just so useful for me.

Thank you Rachel. For 2025 I added A6 size to the launch but being a brand new, one person shop I had to limit the options for the initial launch. But plan to launch other sizes in the future.

Love both layouts, the script font you used, the colors, cover titles…just everything!! This is going to be tough to choose between the vertical and horizontal layouts 😅 Quick question, IF you were to decide to add another size option for 2025, do you know which size that would be? If I add a second size it will most like be A6 size. A5 is a great classic size that’s perfect for planning and journaling and just being organized. But it’s not as portable so I think the perfect compliment would be a portable option and A6 seems the perfect pairing for the initial year of our planners.

@justscribble (first time commenting) GREAT JOB!!! I can see many people will be happy with this set up. I looked high and low last year for a “bundled” planner and found Paper Tess but was only b6. I did buy and am still using it, but I’ve learned I don’t like the “bundled” style, boy did I surprise myself but I’ve found for me it’s too confining when I want to journal.
I like your 68gsm that’s great as is pretty much all your layouts. I also really like your vertical and your attention to detail is wonderful. I’ll know where to point people as I hear their planner woes. Best to you!

Love that it’s 68 gsm !!! The ghosting on 52 gsm is so bad and annoys me especially since trp is expensive . I remember answering the form you posted , your planner turned out great !
My take a note is 68 gsm. I can't stand the 52 or Sanzen paper. The ghosting is horrible, agreed.

Yes I prefer 68gsm for planning. For journaling I love both but in my planner I just like how 68gsm performs better. One of the reasons I love the Take a Note planner and I'm so glad I was able to offer it.
@@JustScribble For those like myself who likes to use a wide variety of pens, including a few cheaper fountain pens, I couldn't get over how well everything performed. Especially Tombows, and Mildliners for color coding.
*I had purchased a Techo for $10 last Black Friday and the 52 gsm of the Hobonichi would never dry. I'm left-handed so it became a bit of a struggle to use. I turned it into a notebook and covered the dates. LOL
@@user-KK812 No worries. Yeah, I get it. I wasn't sure what to think because it was my first Tomoe River planner, but I saw it on Amazon for $30, while the other TRP planners were over $60 and I really fell in love with it.
Everyone was so over the moon for the Sterling Ink but I couldn't justify the price or find a use for it, and then I saw the Take a Note on Amazon.
It has a really neutral design, but it's one of around 5 planners and 6 notebooks in my system.
Absolutely excited about this! Cannot wait to order!

Unfortunately when re-watching your video, I picked up that you’re only pre-ordering A5.
I am a working mom living/working in NyC and walks to/from work and for all other life and kid errands which means A5 is a tad too big for me to carry all day. Please please consider doing B6 size as well!!!!!!!
Yes this initial launch is in A5 size. I am working to add a smaller more portable size for 2025 (if I can make that happen) and hope to add other sizes in the future as well :)

I really like that horizontal layout and the monthly preview page. People who like to use monthly themes can swatch in the boxes.
Personally, I like a single book even if it's super thick. I also like undated dailies. I feel like I've wasted so much space every time I fail to fill it, which is why I left hobonichi.
But these are wonderful products and congratulations! 🎉
That's a great idea for the boxes.
I've found personally that its easier for me to cover up dates than it is to add them. So I'd rather have them and ignore them or cover them since I don't always use the dated page for the day it relates to. So hopefully that works as an option for some...and there's so many planners now with undated pages we now have some options :)
Deciding on a giant thick book and two separate books was definitely a hard decision. But at the end of the day I decided it fitting in covers people love was a big perk...and I keep seeing so many people get restless in the summer and really they just need to change it up or revamp (not necessarily leave their system) so I hope that this helps those that have been struggling mid-year. I appreciate that it's not a good fit for you but means so much to me that you watched and are so supportive!! Thank you :)

Absolutely love the horizontal! I am not an a5 girl unfortunately. This year i tried the cousin and it was totally too big. I hope that in the future you will offer the horizontal in an a6. ❤

Your planner is just about exactly what I need, but I'm wondering if I missed a calendar of the whole year where we can write special occasions like birthdays? I see your 3-month spreads (quarterly) and 4 month pages (2 of them?), but I didn't see a whole year. I've got to have a whole year for listing birthdays and anniversaries.
So I personally write birthdays and celebrations directly into my monthly spread so they are there at the beginning of the year when I setup my planner. However if that isn’t your process there are a few other options. You can add them to the perpetual calendar in each book. You could also add them to the project planner page depending on how you use that or you can add them to the monthly overview page for each month. Alternatively there’s several spots of grid pages where you can add them in with a stamp or sticker or hand-lettering to write the month and then the dates and names etc. You could also do a tip-in from a printable (we will have one available) to add to the planner. Hopefully one of these options would work for you. I would be curious - can you tell me what spread you use in your current planner for this?

Yes!!! So excited. While I was happy people were starting to make tomoe river planners in the last year, it was getting a bit repetitive that they are all basically copies of Hobonichi and Traveler’s Company planners. LOVE the horizontal!

I love the horizontal and am glad to see a new launch that gives it some love! There have been so many indie planner releases with hobo-style vertical weeklies and those just don't work for me. 😭I'm very excited to see how your launch goes! Good luck!
Yes although I love a vertical and it has a place in my lineup I definitely wanted to bring something different to the table too. Even my vertical planner is unique in it's setup --- so many others like you say are very "inspired" by the Hobo and it doesn't seem like there's much variation. So glad you love the horizontal!

I left my Hobo Cousin for a bujo because of the lack of functionality it had for me -- the weeklies don't work for me. It lacks blank pages. The time ladder is virtually useless (I spent each week whiting out the numbers and re-writing my own to make it more functional). In my bujo (I kid you not) I do my weekly pages exactly the same way that you have it laid out. This may actually be my unicorn book. I might have missed it, but did you mention the price? I am really contemplating doing a pre-order of the horizontal. This book is perfect!

It’s nice but I prefer my monthly calendars in one section separate from my weekly/daily and I like the whole year in one the thicker the better

The planner is perfect. I absolutely love the horizontal layout! Will you be selling that style as inserts at some point? I am thinking that would be great in my personal planner and classic discbound system.
I’m so glad you like it. I will be offering printables which are in a similar layout - I’ve been testing the A6 ring version first but will be adding other sizes and other styles as well. I plan to have A6, personal and pocket available before the new year for 2025 setups. But will add other sizes including discbound in the future as well. I don’t know that I’ll offer pre-printed versions but I am thinking about a collaboration with another shop to bring that too but don’t be line not now.

I love the setup and bundled features!!! I am usually a vertical planner but love the horizontal layout - it’s more of a Dashboard style that I love! Also love the scribble notebook. I don’t care for lined notebooks anymore but I know that a lot of people do, I’ll hold out for a graph grid notebook in the future (even though you didn’t mention that one 😂
Oh I'm sure I'll add one at some point - in some version :) there's so many on the market now part of my focus is filling the voids in the community!

Sorry I wont be offering a clear cover. There’s quite a few shops that offer them already. But I will be testing and sharing how different ones fit for reference later this year.

I’m so glad you like the layout and structure. It’s comes from how I would setup my bullet journals and how I plan in the planners I have (or how I wish I could plan) and I love how they turned out. I don’t know if I’ll do a full book in the future or not. It will probably depend on the interest I get in a one book option since there are minimums to consider and also offering other sizes vs other styles. But I’ll keep that request in mind 💗

Wow! Did not expect so many functional pages. The numbered pages I was like "wait you didn't even mention that" and then you did lol alot of surprises. Very impressed overall. Colors a little feminine for me but not a deal breaker, not crazy about the font style but also not a deal breaker. Probably looks alot better in person anyways. I wish it was on 52 gsm but get why not everyone likes 52 gsm. I like one book a year however with all those spreads I can see why you broke them into 2. Very thought out. It looked like some pages didnt lay completely flat but i could be mistaken. That for me is a deal breaker. can't wait to see the follow up videos, so I can decide to leave my hobonichi cousin for your planner because of the great spreads and functionality of the planner. Oh and the key placement I liked. A lot to love. I had to watch again lol. It's like you combined so many wants from 3-4 different styles of other planners into one!

Thank you 😊 I’m glad you like the planners. No, the A6 is not being offered in vertical for 2025. The A6 size was added to the lineup after a lot of requests for a smaller, more portable option and I wasn’t able to add it this late on the game in both styles for 2025.

I love everything about this planner except the Monday start. I believe that I’m in the minority on this issue though!!! It just throws me off and I don’t need help in that department😂. Not ruling this planner out as I’m still weighing my options and, like I said, I really do love everything else about your planner 🥰
I used to be the same way - Sunday start for my monthly was my go-to. Then I got a planner that wasn't and never looked back! Keeping my weekend-days together makes so much more sense to me and makes it easier for me to schedule things out. But I totally get needing a Sunday start. On a positive if you just need your monthly as a Sunday start (which is how most Sunday-start planners are setup) you can easily re-date it with a sticker kit from AuraEstelle (their redating kit) or with monthly sticker kits from shops...just as an option. But I totally get it if you need one that's preprinted. I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.
This looks perfect!! Do you think you’ll offer a B6 size before the end of this year in the horizontal?
At this time I don't anticipate launching B6 size for 2025. It's on my list of potential sizes in the future but not sure exactly when that would be. There are already two other brands that sell a bundled B6 size planner. They aren't the same setup as mine in the organization or layout --- but they do offer a B6 size in a horizontal style so there are some options in the market if you are looking for one in the meantime.
Wow. I thought I knew my 2025 planner pick. But now I’m adding this planner to my list. I love the extra pages between sections. That’s what I’ve been missing and tape ins don’t always make sense.

I'm glad you are excited. There was a point in time when we didn't think we'd be able to get it but so glad they started producing it earlier and we are able to use it in our planners.

I'm so glad you love a bundled planner too! The paper is white - though white TRP is not stark white like copy paper. But this is not the cream like Hobonichi uses in the weeks.

Oh wow! On the previews I caught I hadn’t realised you were doing horizontal! This is perfect for me - and I’m not usually keen on bundling, but having the entire quarter together isn’t something I’ve seen before. I don’t like avec either, but you have added preplanning! And the whole thing is perfect for project working or personal goals! I’m so excited about this and absolutely amazed I like it so much - seems I didn’t know what I needed until someone showed me 😅.
