Hi I have a question for you! I just purchased my husband a 1917 Elgin pocket watch- the watch itself works/ runs and the hands move but we are unable to set the time.. what could be the problem? When you pop the crown out and twist it the hands don’t move but also are not frozen as the watch keeps time (even tho it’s the wrong time).

Carbide
