Great journey, Cross Country Turbostar routes (with the exception of the Nottingham to Cardiff) may be better placed with other operators, with WMR operating Derby to New Street and EMR on this route, especially as EMR plan to operate a fully Turbostar regional train fleet and they manage most stations between Nuneaton and Peterborough.
This route is really under served as there are only 2 trains an hour between Birmingham and Leicester which are short 2 and 3 carriage trains. If they are not going to operate at least 4 carriages on all services as a minimum they should have 2 stopping services to Leicester each hour and make this service only stop at Nuneaton as this would increase capacity for passengers making longer journeys as well as a slightly better journey time on a route which feels really slow for the distance covered.
Great video

Bring some class 170s Down to Devon to replace the ageing class 150s

I’m not sure why some people add (Full Journey) to the title of these videos when they’re not full journeys. Still, they’re enjoyable though.
If only Crosscountry could of run to Norwich from Birmingham New Street with using Class 170 Turbostar.
