Switzerland is an overrated country, if it is only because of the natural beauty, then there are many places in the world that would be better than this but all of them are budget friendly because not every tourist is a millionaire, mostly budget friendly people contribute in tourism. That's why it is important to keep such people in mind.

If you are traveling Switzerland in a budget for like 2-3 days, then definitely carry a tent, portable gas and stove, and foods like noodles etc. You'll save lot of money.

Zermatt is mainly a skiing town and also Matterhorn is famous for its beautiful look ,I would say u guys should had gone up using the cable car ,just to get the view and feeling of being in Matterhorn,Yes that Swiss pass is a pain in the A.. ,The 30CHF for Transfer fee is a rip off,everything comes with a high price in Switzerland,some makes sense and some is clearly rip off ,however it’s a once in a life time experience so nothing to loose at all ,keep ur videos rolling buddy 👏
Christmas Eve and Christmas are family oriented private get togethers. . You would have enjoyed your trip much more if you had visited during summer time and also taken the gornegrat railway. Matterhorn is beautiful to look up close. Maybe you chose the wrong hostel to stay otherwise you would have found your stay comfortable with wonderful breakfast options.I visited Switzerland and though it’s not cheap , you can stay in apartments where you can cook by buying groceries from COOP and so expenses comes down.
Even Europeans don’t travel to Switzerland , Austrian alps is cheaper option for them and equally beautiful
I once had this question in my mind myself as well ki sab toh same hai? Par esa hota nhi h. It's a saying that Nature heals you likewise travelling does too. Also, it's the vibe of a place that makes it different. For me, if we start thinking of every other place as "usual" that would be a pessimist view. Chalo maanliya same hai bhi toh kya? Ese toh fir another popular view is ki "jakar kya krna h ajkl sb toh visuals available h ji? Ab toh VR bhi h?"

Ye QR code sacn wala issue kuch nahi bas swiss government ka lootne ka tarika hai. Indian QR code is scannable with a regular QR scanner and takes you to the official website.
Nahi Bhai scene alag hai, inka Jo QR reader app hai woh bolta hai banda vaccinated hai ya nahi, incase you test positive, vaccination status goes off until you test negative. Yeh joh document hai yeh only residents koh milega. Inko milega hi nahi. Europe hasn't opened for tourism completely so they have not decided how to verify tourist that's why they are facing this issue. It should be resolved in 6 months. And also cowin website does not work in Europe.

I have been to Switzerland 2 times and both times I could not visit Zermatt. So I wanted to see Matterhorn par could never see it for myself. Par now after seeing your vlog, Zermatt is no more on my list. Par glacier express Definitely is.

Switzerland honestly look over rated to me. I thought Switzerland is the most beautiful country in the world but doesn't look like. Even our Kashmir looks the same. Yeah Glacier express was nice but it can be made in our country as well.

Maybe it looks better in the summer, everything covered in snow makes it difficult to really see the landscape.

In this weather Switzerland is dull and drab. Can't believe it is Xmas time. The prices are frankly crazy and just not worth it. You need to be very rich to be able to waste money on this sort of outing. I can sympathise with you guys. Summer would definitely be better.

7 years I visited Switzerland.We stayed at one of best tourist hotels. There were s couple of North Indians who stayed in hotel earlier and they made mess of the room before vacating. The hotel staff were cursing Indians for mess created in rooms in Swiss German. My brother who knows German understood this. He was telling me North Indians mostly on summer season in India visit Switzerland and they bring a bad name for all Indians with their attitude.
I don't think you should say that only North Indians do that few idiots from India do that it's true but don't classify North Indians as the only Indians who create mess there are many south indians in US just like that who just call DSW customer support to beg for extra discount when they are already getting a huge discount and its still fine but on top of that they curse the person on the customer support call
