I like your makeup reviews a lot. It feels like I’m watching a normal person try out some makeup not a make up artist or a guru. Just a normal lady having fun and trying something new and I really appreciate that about your reviews.
Robert Welsh has a really good video on how to apply this cushion properly, this one works best when (before applying) you first tap it out on the palette (inner cover) to even it out on the puff and more importantly to remove excess product!! This will allow you to apply in thin even layers to get a smooth more skin like finish. Less is more with this one, it's already a high coverage product with a watery thin consistency, so it will still have full coverage with a very thin layer. Hope this helps!! Robert's video is really helpful and informative as well
One thing to remember, less is better when starting off- you initially used way too much foundation… a faint first tap is more than enough to use on whole face then add more as needed. The best way for finger placement on the sponge is using three fingers inside but trick is placing middle finger on top of the band leaving pointer and ring fingers under band… giving pressure on the sponge and better control. You can even fold sponge to hit the nose and eye area. Lightly taps into skin, start with redder areas of face first and work outward for best results. I hope this helps in getting better results
Bunny you haven't aged a bit. I came across the video today 😢❤ and I used to watch you all the time when I was 17, I'm 26 now 🥲🥹❤ I still love your videos, much love!!!
Tirtir is a Korean brand that is really famous in Japan at the moment. As someone mentioned, you have to tap the pad onto the plastic part a little bit to remove the excess.
This video is a game-changer! 🌟 I love how cushion foundations combine the convenience of a compact with the flawless finish of liquid foundation. The coverage looks so natural and the application process is super easy. Definitely trying this out!
Robert Welsh has a really good video on how to apply this cushion properly, or as it's meant to be applied, it's really helpful and informative. I also posted a few comments on this video that may help! Most people who have bad experiences with this use way too much and caked it on... it's still full coverage with a very thin layer, and less product on the skin applied evenly will have a more smooth, skin like finish and should be able to set down and not transfer.
From what I saw 13C is the one that has oxidizes like crazy. I took a risk and bought 13N and it DOES NOT oxidize on me. Went to a wedding, looked and felt great the whole day ^^
I don't know about 72 hours, but a lot of the '24 hour' and '48 hour' wear is because many Jewish women cannot put on makeup during shabbat. So they put it on before the sun goes down and depend on it lasting.
Makeup reviews or just trying new makeup are my faaaavourite videos from you! So happy to see one. Thank you Bunny! ❤ And your skin is flawless without any foundation, that’s a dream skin you got right there! 😍
I love this foundation!! Doesn't cake up (make sure you don't apply a whole bunch at first, start little because wow does it cover really well) personally it doesn't really oxidize on me. Eventually your skin will be "glass" so think oily. But a pretty oily. "Glass" good luck everyone on finding your shade online! I bought 2 different colors incase. I got a pretty good match luckily.
@@wallflower7743 No it's not. it says everywhere that is k-beauty product. However it seems to be quite popular in japan (maybe even more than in korea) "Founded in 2016 by a Korean beauty influencer, TIRTIR has taken Japan by storm".
You have really good skin!!! My trick with smile lines is to make a faint smile while putting on foundation and avoid the two lines, and put the foundation really just around the lines, like super close with a beauty blender.
If it does happen to settle, I mean thin layers help but you def have a very expressive face so if it settles, usually you can just tap those lines out with a finger!
Omggggg bunny I’m backkkk. Literally was obsessed with u when I was like 10 and 10 years later here u are. Still being the og you have always been ❤❤❤❤
It should be applied very thinly. It lasted me over 24 hrs other than where my n95 mask rubbed on my nose! I was seriously impressed!!! No oxidation on me either but most don’t on me.
This foundation is one of thr best ive used ,u have To use less !.less is more, and patting it out on the other side is a good idea I def set it and doesn't make me Matte , It lasts all day and is super Light weight
It’s really good in my opinion. I have very dry skin. and as others said Robert welsh has a video how to best use this product. And for the price and how little you need it’s so worth it.
You're not applying it correctly. Take the applicator sponge and place the entire sponge on the cushion to pick up the product. Do not just place the top portion of the sponge on the cushion. Then on the black side of the compact case dap the sponge to remove excess and distribute the product. Then gently tap the sponge to your face. This will give you a thin application that does not sit in pores, fine lines and does not oxidize. I was applying it wrong and initially didn't like it. Once someone taught me the right way I love it.
Have you tried the Koh Gen Do foundation? I'm 45 and it's the best foundation I have EVER used!!! Doesn't settle, looks like real skin, stays all day. Worth it's price!
I hope you can survive that high heat down there Bunny. It's just now starting to hit us up here in St. Louis. It's gonna be in the high 90's from now through next week. 🥵
Hi grav3yardgirl I haven't tried a cushion foundation in a while but it looks like a really nice finish to the foundation and also a decent coverage. The only thing I am not sure about is how it shows the expression lines but the plus side is that it does move with your expression lines so I have mixed feelings about it, but it looks like a product I would like to try. So liking that you are doing your makeup videos again and PR mail videos too well all your videos I should say. 🙂💚🐊
they have a sample pack where they send you a bunch of shades to try to find your right one ! They also released all the shades for the mattte/dewy one (Dewy one though it has a brightening effect so go a shade down from your normal !) and I loveeeeeee tirtir, i can sweat and it looks even better
LMAO "very Elizabethan" 🤣 I'm commenting as I watch... it does have what I think is a very shampoo-ish fragrance. I like to use either the mini finger puffs or just my usual beautyblender for around my eyes and nose. It will dry down if it's applied in a very thin layer. I think it's helpful to remember that it's an asian foundation meant to help with reducing the transfer on masks during the pandemic era, hence the 72 hr claim and "mask fit". It really performs soooo much better in thin layers, and it does get better with wear. It like smooths out after it dries.
I know you said that was on sale this was two days ago but when I looked it's like $22 & change it's really so hard to pick a color cuz I've seen so many people have a hard time with that and I just don't want to get it and then I don't like the color!
I liked it. I even chose the correct shade for me, which was AMAZING, however….I broke out. I’m afraid to try it again, but sooooo want to. (I have problems with many primers so I’m wondering what is in there that I’m not doing well with.)
Bunny, would you try this again, and the Luminess and maybe others, do a transfer test? Specifically kissing Dogman and on clothes - putting shirts on/off over the head after makeup is done. My main issue is my SO ends up wearing my foundation because of kisses.
I tried this foundation when Tati recommended it. I have tried it 4 times, with a multitude of different primers and primer combos that have all worked fine with multiple other foundations. I don’t know what why or how, but this foundation somehow takes the pore-filling primers out of my enlarged pores on my nose, doesn’t sink into the pores, and then I am left with a trypophobic nightmare of dozens of little holes that the foundation somehow exaggerates. And I also tried putting this on with brushes and beauty blenders and velour puffs. Nothing has worked for me.
The finish reminds me of the kvd good apple balm from a few years back and the beauty gurus hated that but they like tirtir probably because they've been paying them all to do videos lol fr it's OK I'd say if u already have a foundation u love just stick w that a recent favorite of mine is the Elf soft glam satin or the covergirl skin perfector essence ❤
I tried it myself and I hate it. I have huge pores and scars from cystic acne and it was exaggerating them and my fine lines. People recommend not using a primer with it but I can't see myself loving it without one. I might try a pore filling primer with it.
For me the Tirtir Red Cushion looks great without primer and powder even though I have oily skin. It looks great if you apply a thin layer of Foundation and not apply too much or it will look bad.
This foundation is not for dry skin, if I put this on my face it would settle into my fine lines and look so dry and cakey. The reason it looks better over time is because of your face oils. This foundation would be better for oily skin.
You applied sooooo much tho! Dip once into the cushion, then tap it out on the palette (cover) to even it out and remove excess product, it will look like there's almost nothing on the puff but it will have a decent amount inside the puff. One dip this way should be enough to cover one layer over most or all of your face 😊
Exactly many people are doing it wrong coz this is not the typical Foundation people normally use when using western Foundation. I made a review on this together with how it's properly applied. Thick application can look patchy and oxidize but applying a thin layer looks great without oxidizing.
@@AngeeloRabaya YES! So many are treating this like a western foundation, having a bad result, then either wondering what went wrong or simply dismiss it as a "bad" product. Like no, you just over applied it.
