Life As We GOmez I am soo sorry about Stella I love that adorable sweet child. Stella is soo smart and I like to watch her dance and play and laugh and having fun makes me happy to see it . I hope and pray that Stella gets better. I dont know what her problem is could be a numder of things. I pray that the doctor finds out soon. I love and adore the whole family. Thanks for sharing God bless the Gomez family.
Growing up I had a friend that would do the same thing...the hair on top of her head was always so thin. You got her some really cute things that I hope will help. Saying prayers for sweet Stella🙏🥰
I sure HOPE you find a solution between the doctor's suggestions & possibly a viewer that may know something. I wish you and Stella well in this. I have no clue what to do. Good luck!🤗
Life As We GOmaz thanks for noticing my comment about Stella please let us know about how she's doing I will continue to hope and pray for her. Thanks for sharing God bless the Gomaz family.
When my daughter was little we trimmed her hair and kept it shortish, she used to suck her thumb but never pulled her hair. My daughter is now 17 and has lovely thick hair. I would suggest to follow drs advice and also do what you think is best for your daughter. I hope Stella is OK and that she very soon stops pulling her hair out. Wishing you all the best, and stay safe xx
Aww, you’re a great mom trying to figure this out for Stella. Sweet girl. I’m so glad you feel better after that doctor’s visit and that you decided to see that specific doctor even with the distance. So frustrating when pediatricians don’t listen to moms, especially with her being your fourth. Not every kid is a textbook case. Can’t wait to see if those suggestions help!
It’s great that you guys finally have answers, i recommend if you have to use the plastic hair ties to cut them out as it doesn’t hurt as much or rio out any hair. Hopefully that amazon stuff arrives soon and fixes the problem❤️😊
I had a friend in high school and when she got nervous she would pull her hair out like Stella. Has she been tested for Autsim or anxiety disorders ? Hope she gets better!❤️
My daughter was diagnosed with a sensory progression disorder when she was around Stellas age. We went to occupational therapy and it helped so much. She is now 16 and does not have problems with it anymore. We did the taggies, fidget spinners, dry brushing and weighted blankets. I hope you get some answers soon.
@@lifeaswegomez we have a wonderful pediatrician who listened to my concerns and decided to send us to an occupational therapist. The occupational therapist do a great job at evaluating your child and come up with a wonderful plan. My daughter went to her therapist for about 3 years and they worked very closely with her. She did have anxiety issues which was crazy for me because she was so little. They taught her how to cope with her anxiety and how to let out all of the emotions she had bottled up. We learned that when they are so young they do not know how to deal with their emotions. My daughter used to pull at her hair just like Stella. The amazing part is now that she is older she knows how to work with her anxiety. We are praying that you get some answers. I definitely know what you are going through.
Chelsea Marcos Thank you for sharing this video Stella I hope you feel better I’m sending you my love and prayers that everything’s OK with you love watching it love you all y’all please stay safe

I say leave Stella, hair up I hope Stella, blood work come' s back good.. I'm hoping all the stuff that you ordered to help Stella, from PULLING on her hair work's I actually thought Stella, HAD stopped PULLING out her hair Stella, is still adorable GOMEZ FAMILY the BEST
I recommend to put a picture of a toy you think she’ll like! Every time she pulls at her hair, she gets a tally . If she gets a certain amount of tallies, she can’t get her toy.. I don’t mean to parent your kids, just a suggestion.
That’s a great idea! My mom does that too if she sees a behavior that she doesn’t like but we are in the thick of it now to where it’s a last resort: “if you go poop on the potty CONSECUTIVELY without accidents then I will take you to the toy store and we can pick out any toy you want….but if you have so many accidents that I have to put a pull up on you and it happens this many days in a row then you don’t get the toy”…..”if you don’t bite your nails and you keep your fingers out of your mouth then this happens…..”
I have mentioned a few vlogs ago. But maybe getting Stella a doll with long hair that she can play with and pull will help her keep her own hair. I wish you luck.
Aww, hope all this helps, and it could be from anxiety, or some sort of sensory disorder and tip, during the daytime give her some time to play with playdoh and other squishy stuff (it helps with stress and its fun) Hope you guys will find some answers (Stella's hair is too beautiful to be pulled out)❤❤
Hi Chelsea. I just wanted to let you know how much my family and I enjoy your vlog. I was watching this episode of you taking Stella to the doctor for hair pulling. It sounds like Trichotillomania. This is when someone repeatedly pulls out their hair. It is common in young children between 0-5. It is a self-soothing behavior that functions much like thumb sucking does for a young child. Young children sometimes do this when they are tired. You said Stella does this when she goes to bed. Sometimes young children pull their hair as part of their bedtime routine. They can grow out of it though. This was just weighing on my heart and mind, I wanted to say something. I hope this helps and you guys are in our family prayers.
Stella is adorable and gorgeous no matter how her hair looks but I do think that she would really rock the short Pixie cut! I have Autism, sensory processing disorder and anxiety and I think that maybe having her hair short might help her not have that urge to pull it as much. I prefer a short hair cut as I do not like the feel of my hair on my neck. I wonder if that is part of what is going on with Stella? I do think that taking her to the doc and getting professional help is the best option for her to overcome this. I wish you all the best.
She most likely will out grow it. I twirled my,hair really tight when I was anxious. As I got older I had to make a conscious effort not to do it. She is really young ..keep us posted

I hope you will get some answers Chelsea and Marcos. I can understand how frustrating this is with Stella pulling her hair out. I am so glad your "new" pediatrician is looking at several possible causes for her hair pulling.
I’m guessing the DR checked this, but since it’s a one side thing, is her ear bothering her on that one side? Some kids with inner ear pain pull at that side because it’s hurting. If this was the case, it would be a relief! Good luck! Looking forward to seeing your update.
