YES YES YES YES!!!! THIS is EXACTLY how this song should sound. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the classic, you can't go wrong with some old classic Steppenwolf, but this version KICKS SO MUCH ASS it's almost frightening.

Indeed, though I do agree the mix isn't quite spot on IMO. But the only thing really wrong with this is its a cover of the only darn song of theirs anybody covers, the one most folks have probably heard, seems to me if you are going to mix up the big hit so damn well you need to them mix up another of their quality works to show proper appreciation for their music as a whole. I'd love to hear something like Monster, Ride with Me, etc covered with so much flair.

Dan Vasc is the embodiment of this song. The man was born to be wild. And my knees go weak when he growls, his high notes pierce my soul. I'm hooked for lif.e Dan make sure the builders use reinforced concrete in rebuilding that wall, so that the next heavy rainfall will not soften it and make it collapse again. My late father-in-law was a builder, andvhewoulalways place steel rods at the angles of the constructions before pouring on the concrete. He did this for extra reinforcement. Don't stress, these things take some time. Take care of yourself Epic Dude

The original version of Steppenwolf has been with me since I was 18, when I was able to get my license to drive my motorcycle. The motorcycle and the song are more modern today. Thanks Dan for this variant.
