If the Joker were to actually kill Batman (which he almost does in one comic) he would actually become sane again as... then, he wouldn't have a reason to exist anymore
You know the Imaginary Axis guy made a theory about that, he theorizes the Joker is super sane and knows he's a comic book character, he even used what your talking about as an example he says Joker is convinced he was crazy all that time because he knows he lives in a batman comic book and a comic book would never kill off batman. There's more to it than that you have to go see it yourself, but it is related to your comment

I have seen the theory and, personally, I like that theory because there is a lot of evidence for it and it adds some serious depth to Joker's character. That doesn't mean Joker already doesn't have depth but it would make a LOT of sense to some comics.
Who's to say that Deadpool is the only 4th wall comic book breaker.

This was probably one of the best death battles; it set a high bar that the following two couldn't meet
Harleen Quinzel's brilliance was...debatable. some stories depicted her as a great psychologist, most depict her as a D student who slept with her professors to pass her classes. that's partially why Joker was easily able to manipulate her.

Mewtwo was using Swift because that's one of the moves the wild Mewtwo in Red and Green has
4:48 the weird thing is that they've shown several times that by throwing the joker into the same vat undoes his transformation (weird that it doesnt just multiply it, unless insanity + insanity = sane) but they just lock him up or while Batman doesn't kill, the government could just execute him. Sure he's "mentally insane" and not acting in his right mind according to law but if they're uncurable then why keep them? Your methods of cotaining him fail and fail again yet you just keep doing it. Arkham Asylum is supposed to treat insane people yet the joker remains locked up 24/7
