please wrap the spears with a towel if you have another southern snowstorm. 🤣 You got more snow than the North plateau 2.5 to 3 , but Tansi got more 🤪 Love it when they miss a forecast. Palms look great friend
@@RobOlgatree Thanks. Actually I used my hand held leaf blower and blew the fronds off and the crowns clean of snow several times today. It's all done now, didn't really get any sleet or freezing rain, thankfully.
@@GardeningWithCoffee In their native climate, regular winter snow is common for these cold hardy windmill palms. They are tough. Thanks for the kind comments. 😊
@@user-ggkkiiyy4544 Thanks. We've had another extreme cold spell again. After two rough winters this may be a third in a row and I'm not sure of their survival at this point.
@@user-ggkkiiyy4544 I've hit 11'F twice now but I will have been below (and well below) freezing for about 72 straight hours. I'm afraid my fronds are gonna look terrible again. I will be doing a video in a few days to show the fronds and illustrate how cold damages them. edit: just got home and I dropped to 10'F this morning.
@@Palmguy24 It would be interesting to watch a video of how your palm trees survived this cold snap, examine each palm tree separately and rank them according to the degree of damage received.
@@user-ggkkiiyy4544 Sounds like a good idea. I may not have original video of each palm from the coldest a few days ago but I certainly will update them. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@MarlenesHomeandGarden They really are. Trachycarpus fortunei (windmill palms) are one of the hardiest trunking palms. I'm sure they are around in your area. You should try one. Thanks for watching.
@@PlasBachGarden Sweet! Can't wait to see it in the landscape! I know you'll have that new area in your garden looking great soon enough. Thanks for stopping by.
wow looks nice
@Snoopypalms Thanks but I'd rather not have to deal with it, lol.

Trang trí đèn quanh gốc cây cọ đón mừng giáng sinh và năm mới rất đẹp . ....rồi tuyết rơi trắng xoá khung cảnh thật lãng mạn 🎉🎉
Absolutely. It's a very festive look. Thanks for watching! Cam on ban. 😊
Love your palms
@@Jolene-n9o Thank you. I do too, they're my babies, lol.
@@Palmguy24 - You have a couple getting huge.
@@Jolene-n9o The one is really getting a nice trunk to it and looking like a real palm 'tree.' The biggest is about 10" tall. They are fast growers.
Those palms are fighters! Love the pond with the snow.

@Palmguy24 What was your minimum temperature and was there any damage to the leaves?
