Ursula is my favourite Disney villain. Poor Unfortunate Souls is my favourite Disney Villain song. This performance is incredible to the point that it pops into my head every time I hear this song. I love love love it!
I completely agree. Tituss leans into that sarcasm so well here, and I think it's part of why I'm so drawn into the performance despite the lack of costume or crazy stage effects. Just a mic, a piano, and a whole lot of sass ... ❤️
I loooooved the Broadway version of Little Mermaid. I was blown away by how well he could sing the first time I listened. Then he did Kimmy Schmidt and I realized he's a fantastic actor too. Very talented man with a wonderful voice. Really like your commentary.. not many reactors have this level of input and I am enjoying it. Looking forward to more
Thanks! Yeah, this is one of those rare performances where everything just clicks. I'm not sure why nobody has had him play Ursula, but at least we get to enjoy this fantastic performance :)
This is an awesome discovery for me, thanks! (: The Little Mermaid is really dear to my heart as it was the very first Disney VHS I got in English from my dad coming from a trip to the US when I was young. Titus would have indeed been a great Ursula!!
Hey! Thanks very much! Welcome to the channel! I especially appreciate that you watched this one, too, 'cause the performance is incredible and it's not getting the same love as some of my other ones. :)
If you want to have a laugh, but with great singing, you can check Superfruit's Frozen medley (Superfruit = Scott & Mitch from PTX) which also features Kirstin. Make sure to watch the whole video, the bloopers are fun (:

His rendition of "And I'm Telling You" is spectacular! Binging and subscribed.
Genius!!!💖💖💖👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It's such a great performance! I really need to find more like this.
I always imagined that Ursula was quite sarcastic, and Tituss also brings that forward... just a thought

I like how you’re explaining that you don’t endorse Ursula’s advice to Ariel :) too funny!
I can't wait for you to do Wizard of Ahhhhs
My favorite song from the movie! 🎥
Wonderful analysis as well. I agree on all counts!
Thank you! Tituss absolutely kills this :)

Portland represent! Love it! :) I'm out in the burbs, but love finding someone local on TH-cam. Enjoy your reactions a lot.
Born and raised in Oregon City!
Have you seen Harvey Fierstein's version? Also a phenomenal rendition. They share the role in my dream cast.
I haven't! I'll have to look that up!
Hi, I came over from PTX, this is good - thanks
Thank you for watching! I know this one gets a lot less interest than some of the others, but it's SO GOOD!

I definitely will!
I think you would enjoy The Wizard of Ahhhhs PTX
That sounds cool! The Wizard of Oz still holds up almost 100 years later in my opinion, so I'm always happy to check out a fresh take.
YAS!!!!!
Great idea!
Agreed 100%! The song choices they made with Todrick are brilliant!
