Cultivating Taste from the Land
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage on a journey we never thought possible. By blending our design expertise with a luxury-centered approach to heritage goods at our rural 45-acre agro-tourism destination, we recognized that standard land management practices would not align with our values. Just as we are mindful with our products, it is important for us to treat nature responsibly in an authentically sustainable manner with a focus on preservation.
That entailed a significant overhaul of non-native, invasive grasses utilized for cattle grazing and a transition towards native ecology. Currently, ten acres of native wildflower meadows serve as a feeding source and habitat for The Fields honeybee apiary while supporting the myriad native pollinators that continue to increase in number and diversity.
