You just touch on a nerve and you are right. They history is no different to mine or any other black man and woman history. The stain of slavery and the cruelty and inhumanity that was inflicted on our ancestors can never be forgotten. Yet like you said, they speak and act like they have forgotten. I see and hear them and I am ashamed.
The same problem is here in the UK to, with our London Mayor and current Prime minister.

Some geopolitical commentators are saying that if oil and gas, lots of it, wouldn't be present under the sea bed off the coast, we wouldn't be witnessing the horrors tacking place, at least not with such "intensity".

Apparently 450 plus billion in oil and gas under Gaza n West Bank- and Sunak recently granted 100’s of licenses including to bp and his wife’s family to extract it. I haven’t been able to 100% confirm it but it Makes more sense by the min doesn’t it-

I agree with you 100%...I cannot understand how Austin, and the woman representing the U.S. (there is also a black man with her), all black, can treat/react to Palestinians in the manner that they do. I simply have a hard time swallowing this bitter pill. Look at the white house rep - jean-pierre; she is the same. It truly is a bitter pill.

I hope you're OK. I've been making my way through your back catalog of posts on your channel and this is about as down as I have seen you.
Sadly, I can't offer any inspiration regarding the Israel-Gaza situation. I feel for the people affected on both sides, but there seems to be nothing that can be done - not at the level of the citizen, not even at the level of governments. Protest just seems to add to the division in our society and increases the sense of tension that I feel constantly now.
The conspiratorial part of me wonders if governments even welcome that - a cowed population demoralised about flaccid economies, multiple wars, the degradation of culture - I imagine it allows even mediocre political leaders to maintain authority.
Anyway, I hope that you are keeping well. This is an interesting channel and its good to see that there is a little community of followers forming around it. I look forward to your next video.
