i just got odd feeling that most of the fighter's idle animation in this game is the reference of other fighter from the other game. for example: Bloom's fighting stance resemble Athena Asamiya's fighting stance from King Of Fighter series.

Gladly Spongebob had his special attack resembling to Ryu's Hadouken.
Nearly except he prefer to use his fist rather than weapon.

if I remember correctly, they brought back Classic Spongebob in Super Brawl 4 but as an assist character to help you in the game.
