My surgery date is set | Managing my feelings and thoughts

Hi friends,
First, I'm so grateful there are so many new friends here! THANK YOU!
As the title states, my surgery date has been set and well, I'm spinning a bit trying to setting into the idea that this holiday and my work will look nothing like I thought it would. Alas, that is life, right?

I don’t know if you have access to Hallmark Christmas movies, but they help me. I do not struggle with medical issues as you mine are more domestic abuse which I have escaped but memories never go away. I am able to find joy in everyday and although fictional these movies bring hope.; a word I never lose. Sending you many hugs!

We started watching the Canadian series called "Heartland" during this past year and truly enjoy it very much~Will sure be praying here in Arizona for easiest surgery possible and best recovery!!

Sending positive vibes from London. You’ve got this 👊 enjoy putting up your tree and decorations, I love doing that it’s the taking them down and putting them alway I’m not a fan of 😂😂. My favourite Christmas movie is the wizard of Oz, not that it’s Christmassy, but when I was young it always seems to be on tv around the Christmas holidays 😂. Afraid I kind of like more dark shows and documentary, true crime than warm and fuzzy Xmas films so not the best person to recommend that. Can’t wait to see a video of your Christmas tree. Be kind to yourself and rest up x
