    Interesting, I studied Nuclear Medicine here in the states. Not sure how teaching English would go with my education but this sounds interesting. Got something from indeed about this.

      It's worth looking into it 😁 Many of our teachers use their time in China to boost their career, restart their career, or find a different path. Lots of opportunity in China and with First Leap China.

    Anyone know how taxes are in China? If you get pay 3k a month, how much of that do you keep?

    • @Alex-dg2hr
      @Alex-dg2hr 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Usually you don't see the taxes in your paychecks. Say the company pays you 14,000 RMB per month, the taxes were already taken out and you'll get 14,000 in your bank account.

    I have been to China and loved it. I just want to know what locations do you offer for teaching? To be straight to the point I want to teach in Taiyuan Shanxi. Is that location available?

    • @FirstLeapChina
      @FirstLeapChina  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Thanks for watching and checking out the video. Most salaries start at around 1,700 pounds, but salary does depend on which city you are living in, but it all works out to about the same based on cost of living for that city. Hope that helps. You can always apply and find out more info here - goo.gl/Trv4Y7

    Why was I offered a job doing this? I have no experience and no credentials for teaching. Sounds pretty fake.

    • @FirstLeapChina
      @FirstLeapChina  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of our teachers use their experience teaching English in China as a catapult to their careers, opportunity to save money to pay off loans, see the world for a while, experience a new culture, etc. We give you the experience with our training programs. None of our teachers go into classrooms without feeling comfortable. With over 500+ teachers located in 55 cities across China, the opportunity is far from fake. Check our social and other videos and reach out and ask some of teachers about their experience. Ask us questions if you have any. Thanks!

      That's a nice-sounding bit of corporate PR. Anything can be dramatized these days, though. Just because you saw it on youtube, doesn't make it real.
      I was made this offer when I was a manager at a swimming pool store. There is nothing whatsoever in my background about teaching anyone anything, let alone in a classroom or a second language. If people decide to pursue this offer, that's their choice. But it came totally out of the blue for me, and I will not take back advising caution.
