Just finished grind for tele sticks to bolo rods. Best advice I have for any player is: don't ever focus on float fishing! It's simply broken. You don't need to struggle with setting hook RNG but also extremely low bite rate.
Bottom fishing can catch exactly same types of fish, you can use GB from the start, hook it's set up automatically, bite rate is insane and most importantly, you get reel from the start. Which allows you to deliver tackle where you want it. From the get go.
I know ranting. But it's hard to not. After wasting almost 30 hours just to rage quit in the end.

Yes I know what you mean. Float fishing can be painful. But important fundamental in the game to learn. And getting 3 float rods for free is a quick way to progress to 3 bottom feeder rods. Once you have them the game gets so much better :)
