What’s going on guys, welcome back or to the channel. In today’s video, I decide to make the best out of the situation given by doing some good ole pond fishing. It's been a while, it's been so long that I forgot you had to watch for alligators at the edges of ponds. Anyways, today I test out the @Saltstrong Slam Shady paddletail swimbait on some hungry freshwater snook, redfish, and the mystical tarpon. There are ponds all over the Tampa Bay area that are home to these locked in saltwater fish, it's finding them that is the hardest part. Hey where gave you been? I got my pack of slam shady and I asked if they would work with freshwater Bass and yes they do was the reply and gave it a shot and yup they work on any fish.
Starting my season with a St Croix medium heavy rod my kids got me for Father’s Day.
I paired it with a kastking carbon fiber Zephyr 3000 spinning reel with 22 pounds of drag to play with. First reel I have that isn’t 35 - 105 years old.
