Nicely done, thanks for that down to earth review and for showing what the raw self noise sounds like :)

Ya pretty much impossible to get these small lav and headset mics to have low self noise. I'm glad they have such issues otherwise we would have a overwhelming amout of mic options. Literally clicked on this video and turned up headphones just to scoff at the self noise, lol. Ultra low noise mics ftw. Literally as noisy as my fender Stratocaster electric guitar that I refuse to use.

haha. yeah... it's just science, right? smaller the diaphragm = more self noise. but tell me this... don't you think this one has *less* hiss than you might expect, even from a lav style mic? I'm not using it on soft sources, but for the visual appearance, it sounds better than I expected to be honest.

Very nice video! What in ear monitors are you using? If you hadn't said anything I would have thought they were part of the microphone kit. They look very professional!

Thanks! They are the Shure SE215's. Glad you're here on the channel.

Thank you brother. But if we purchase another headsets later , how to find if the headset will match with the transmitter ,and receiver,if it is of a different make ,brand and model ( not of the brand and model purchased in the beginning ,as a set ) ?

how did you make the microphone keeping its position? did you alter the clip it is fixed in? its really problematic to use with normal sized heads - i dont get why there isnt an ankle to position the mic… can you do a tutorial how you put the mic on your head? would appreciate that a lot.

What do you think of THIS SOUND? All things considered, it's among the best I've heard from a tiny capsule (lavelier) style mic.

Yes great mic, But my streaming volume is very low. My subscribers complain about it. How do I get the best audio out of it

Can I drive this mic by Sennheiser GSX 1000 Soundcard by simply plug it in, or I do need 48 power from more adult AMP/DAC?

I've always been curious about headworn sets like this.. they look so damn clean on camera. Question.. how are you running this into your Apollo with the 3.5mm termination? Converting to 1/4"?

Can I wear my Sennheiser HD 599/600 on top of this mic?

Since this ends in a 3.5mm can you connect it directly to the mic I out on the pc?

      No. It needs 4-15V Power.
