This is the actual ending though because he used the souls on phase 3.5 cutscene also he died happy, he also avenged his brother at least he got to see the surface, I almost had tears on this 😭😭
Although I am sad for Sans dying at the end, he made the right choice to break the barrier because now other monsters can be free. ALSO, before someone starts saying that all the monsters are dead, remember that this AU is basically muderous UnderSwap, and UnderSwap is just Undertale with swapped characters. My point is that in Undertale’s Mettaton EX fight, Mettaton points out that he’s reached a viewer milestone, which is around 12,000-13,000. And if I remember correctly, when you do the Genocide Run, you don’t kill THAT many monsters, only ones you find on your journey, which means there are many monsters still left in the Underground. Since UnderSwap is just swapped Undertale, that means there are also more monsters left in the Underground after Sans dies. Thank you for coming to my Ted-Talk.

Even looking back on it now this is still a great ending to the au, sans finally bests the human and gets to look over the surface for the first and final time with his brother before fading away, leaving whatevers left of monsterkind to be free
*After a long death battle sans defeats the human and obtains their soul, holding within his hands in his draco skeleton form, the red soul displays small pillars of red hand through the small gaps between his fingers, sans holds the soul as he approached the barrier with the other souls to break the barrier shattering it and returning to his normal self but partly melted off, he made through the small cave to see the sunset of the surface on the other side of the mount, sans looked forward smiling, his pupil was still active but the other seemed not to work anymore, sans stepping forward stopping near the edge to contemplate what the queen Toriel had to do and everything every monster went through to get to see this, all the struggles and hopes monster kind to at least see the surface, in this time line only sans gets to see it.* *Sans smiled looking at the shiny sun speechless from such beauty, soon he felt the precense of someone placing a hand on his shoulder, his pupil moved seeing it was Papyrus smiling giving that look "You did it bro, something I couldn't achivie.. you are and always was the magnificent sans... but now it's time to go" after a few moments remaining there slowly sans started to shatter and turn to dust leaving no trace of him and both the skele bros were gone, the madness and endless reset cycle ended and everyone can rest once and for all, the time line and humans can move on no unknowingly about the monster kind existence.*

Man, what people think Dusttrust is just breaks me. People think it’s just Underswap Dustbelief, but it’s way more than that. In the P3.5 cutscene, Sans is running to the barrier to quickly absorb the souls before he melts. Chara (said Chara instead of Frisk cause it’s Underswap.) slashed Sans once, hitting him. Frisk tried again, but Sans dodges and hits the Perseverance cage. After that, Chara keeps on trying to hit Sans but just hits the rest of the cages. Patience, Justice, Kindness, Bravery, Integrity, Perseverance, and most importantly Determination. Sans has his own DT, but remember what Alphys said in the original Undertale? Giving monsters Determination makes them melt. This means Sans only melted because his DT. After Sans absorbs the Justice, Patience, Bravery, Integrity, and Perseverance SOULs, he hesitates to absorb Kindness. Instead, he most likely BREAKS the Kindness soul. After Phase 4, Chara is killed and Sans uses the SOULs to break the barrier. This could mean Sans actually saved the Kindness SOUL for the barrier. This causes him to go back to normal, but have nothing on. Beside of him, is most likely Papyrus from heaven. I forgot to mention, Sans has nearly completely melted. Nearly his entire right side of his skull is gone. He melts more and more in the cutscene, since in the next frame after seeing Sans on the surface it’s impossible to see his right eye. After Papyrus is gone, Sans starts turning to either a pile of his melted self or dust. But it’s most likely dust, but I’m guessing that the pile is Sans fully melted and the dust flowing away while he continued melting. This could also be the case for Undyne in the Neutral (if you don’t flee from her) and Genocide routes. My god. Dusttrust’s ending cutscene is so saddening.
I never realized this before, but the world after the end of Dusttrust is technically just our own world. No monsters exist anymore, only humans. Though the humans don't even know about the stuff that went down underground.
They should be glad to not be in the trapped monsters" shoes to experience the genocide which is done by a human ,one of their kind We have our own problems to deal with up here
