@@frostbyte12 not like he did on this song...but I also understand as they have not played this live since 1988. He plays much like the album on a lot of songs....Jungle, Nightrain, Brownstone, It's So Easy, Sweet Child, Paradise City, You Could Be Mine, November Rain, Civil War, Estranged...etc...the solo he played here on Anything Goes did not resemble any such vibe of the solo on the album. That's my two cents.
there is no source that Anything Goes was played in 1988. Setlist fm isn't a source because everbody can edit setlists like Wikipedia. It even has wrong setlists in 1985 and 1986 The last documented Anything Goes was 11.24.1987 - Lakeland Civic Center, Lakeland, FL.
Come on!! For a song from the heyday of Rose's voice, it's turned out pretty well. The power of the voice is not the same, but what strength to sing. Magnificent!
Notice how Axl sounds great here. You can tell he’s excited to sing it. Boredom of singing the same songs over and over could be a part of the problem.

I wouldn’t say great but definitely better Then again the rasp used on appetite is different than he did in the illusion era Those songs seem harder for him whereas the cleaner rasp of the 80s seems easier Example reckless life and nice boys
Are you kidding me? Axl absolutely does not have it anymore. I say this as a fan. I saw them in 2017, at the end of the concert he was spent, but in between he sounded good. Sounded like Axl, it was incredible how he could still do the scream in Welcome to the Jungle. But damn, the past 2 years i have seen nothing but Mickey Mouse on the mic.
99% of the videos I have seen that say Axl sounds like shit are Paradise City. The last song of a 3.5 hour performance. Anyones voice would be a bit raw after nearly 4 hours of awesome singing.
Well, Axl sounds better than he did in 2022 at the beginning, so that's a good thing! He's in tune now! And Frank needs to GO. He's so robotic with no swing.
@@SebastianSmith-c5t Yes, he's been there the longest. Duff and Slash I can tell like him as a person. Frank does seem like a nice guy. But in terms of GNR sound, he just doesn't have it. There were times where I'd see Frank do something pretty crappy behind those drums, and Duff would have a less than impressed facial expression.
They had so many incradible returns of rare songs and this crowd was absolutely dead.
If they managed his choice to South America....😏
@@lh3433 imagine a River plate....
They need to play Think About You from now on !!!!!!!!!
Hell yeah, I dig your style.
F' Ya. Axl brought it back in the early 2000s. Needs to bring it back with Slash and Duff now.
Its my dream
I wish but slash isn’t a fan of it
Not the hardest song for Axl to sing either.
OMG. Just saw Iron Maiden play Alexander the Great live which they never had ever...and now this.
Im seeing Maiden july the 4th i cant wait
Thanks for that, I'm seeing Maiden on the 4th and tou have spoilt the suprise.
This song hasn’t been touch live since 1988 so it’s a solid first try
Agreed, but Slash kind of botched the solo...it was in key but it wasn't the solo from the album. Kind of odd for him to be honest.
@@jeffgreene1055 What do you mean? Slash often plays many solos live differently than the album versions.

Damn it, this sound so good, I wish they keep this song on their setlist on this tour

The outro with Dizzy's piano is impressive!
Awesome! Going to see them in july, hopefully they change the set up little bit form last years
The setup is already changed. It's going to be amazing in this tour!
WHAT!?!? LETS GO!!!
In the first versions of this song circa 1985 Axl sound without rasp, so this is a nice rendition
Espero que fique na setlist sempreeeee❤❤❤❤❤

Holy shit!!!! Awesome!!!
Really a great performance of this song.
Axl sounds good... very much in the same style as appetite. Axl also seems more like the old cool axl.
Even better since year, wash ur ears and he turned into Schwarzenegger
Notice how Axl sounds great here. You can tell he’s excited to sing it. Boredom of singing the same songs over and over could be a part of the problem.
True and some of the old songs suit his current voice more. For example, the high raspy screams are what he is still good at, such as that in AC/DC.
Axl has sounded great for many tours now. Every "Axl sucks" video is of Paradise City, after singing for nearly 4 straight hours.

it's song is very crazy of the album Apetit....long life guns.....very good new setlist....
Magnificent
Love the screen saver visuals on the big screen, lmao
This song fits quite well Axl's current voice.
Gratulacje dla Was jesteście super ❤❤❤
I’m glad to hear Axl still has it. The whole band for that matter
I just saw the setlist for Spain from ladt night.. I wish I was there... They are changed it up a little!

Axl on helium
Axl sounds great

Guns !
I wish they wouldn't have cut their cover of "I wanna be your dog" from the set list. They did it so well.
Honestly, I’d rather hear attitude. Nothing wrong with I Wanna be your dog, but Attitude has become duffs thing yk?
Slash needs to relearn that solo. Axl lost it towards the end, okay for a first try.
I was hoping him and Richard would trade between the talkbox/regular solos. But still sounds great!
@@gnrledzep4eva that would be dope, but lets no fool ourselves here: its Slash's stage , Richard it's just the guy backing him up
