Yes, he soloed and flew it from 1937-39. He gave it up when he married our grandmother. I am now a private pilot and never knew until a month ago that my grandfather had flown. His son (our uncle), Lance Michael Quealy found his logbook with the entries for this plane tail number and send it to me. Will have to come up and see it sometime.
