Brilliant Video, thank you so much as I have a N/S front KYB Shocker and Spring to change. You made the job look easy, I thought I would have to disconnect the Drive Shaft !! Thanks again.. 5 Stars. More please for the Audi A6 C7..

Does the A6 C7 have air spring bags?

How does audi dynamic drive select work with suspention?
It's standard on every c7 a6, yet I don't see any electrical connection or any motors on shocks

The dynamic drive select does not effect suspension characteristics

those are in the RS models, the standard A6 for example does not have these features.

For people in the future: if the bolt at 00.30 is stuck (which is guaranteed 🙈) , loosen the control arms at the back of the wheel arch (2x16mm bolts), not at the front as shown in this video. That will save you for alot of hassle.

Brilliant video but... Im guessing that this is a new car and this video is just for demonstration. That bolt at 0:30 which you've just taken off using no power with a hammer is a nightmare. Ive got 8 years old Audi a6 and couldn't get this bolt out. I had to use hammer and a torch burner and spend at least 2 hours on one side and an hour on the other one. This bolt was completely stuck there!!! Like someone welded it...

B, Spot on... My son performed this procedure on an older A6 recently and had exactly the same nightmare as you describe. Dissimilar metals ( steel bolt/aluminium arm ) corrosion.... The car in ( excellent ) video is not new ( see disc ) but must be in Arizona.

yee.. this car hes working on looks brand new tho haha.. otherwise that bolt is a nono, take the inside ones instead. Did that work on my a6 c7 today, aint even gonna try with the other bolt!

İf the car is few years old why he needs to replace the suspension?

That's a complete joke. That pinch bolt never comes out that easily.
