Im a little late to this inktober and I am brand new to zentangle. I loved every step of this process and look forward to the next one! This was soooo much fun! I cant thank you enough!
YES!! I was so excited to see this pop up today! I've been looking forward to seeing your final artwork. I love the way you've framed this. I have many Zentangle pieces displayed like this in glass frames. I just wanted to sit and gaze at your mandala.... and get hit with little surprises tucked here and there. I rewatched and pause this video many times! Thank you for sharing your Inktober journey with us! Much, much appreciated!💞
Christina - just came across your channel. Your work is some of the best I have seen. I plan to watch and learn from all your content. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy. There may be some changes to the channel in the coming months...I just finished grad school and now have more time to dedicate to my hobbies.
Fantangleastic!! Thank you so much for taking me with you on your inktober journey. I followed you every step of the way (although mine is not nearly as beautiful as yours). I probably wouldn’t have finished it without you so thanks for the inspiration!
Hello! It took me years to get comfortable with shading. The first time I noticed an improvement was when I took the certified Zentangle teacher training. After that, I felt more confident and tried out different supplies, like markers and different types of pencils. Now, I like to just stick to the basics and use the typical Zentangle supplies: graphite pencil and tortillion.
@@ChristinaCarrollArts I someday would like to take that training, but am severely disabled and funds are prioritized for basic needs. I've recently realized I hold back from making large complete pieces, and want to engage with that. So I'm glad to come back to your channel for inspiration and support. Your work is stunning and I'm watching to try and track your decision making with the shading. It really takes your designs and patterns to the next level.

Yay! I'm glad you took this journey with me. While drawing is fun, the best part of Zentangle is the community!
Art by me,it looks beautiful love the frame.
Thank you! I just had the frame, still in the wrapper, sitting in closet. I'm glad it worked well for this artwork.

Thank you! I hope to make more videos soon. I just finished grad school and I hope to have more time for hobbies in the upcoming months.
WOW.
May I ask where you learned to shade? Your shading is exceptional.

@@ChristinaCarrollArts well those years and classes show. I watch a lot of artists on here and your shading stands out. Thanks for the personal reply.
