It does have protaper grips and grip brush gaurds, barely any seat tears (just a little bit in the back corners from daily use) no seat fading, same top end lol. Its criisp and cleaan

You should get new plastics and get some simple graphics for it a new seat new green clutch and brake levers be grips me handle bars new tires new shifter and rear brakes and just fix it up (leaks and stuff like that) and keep it or you can sell it for about 2-3000

dan osullivan the tc 125 is a good bike as long as you take care of it and warm it up it won't blow up. And regardless eventually any two stroke is gonna need a rebuild and it's not as bad as you think.
You're dogging KX purple and green? Didn't Yamaha have pink and white back then? Also, a renthal pad does not mean renthal bars. Those are stock bars. I have a restored 98 250 and I would love to put it back to purple and green.

Idek why he kept the kx100. He really should keep the 125 tbh. The thing is that a kx100 is alot smaller than a kx125. A kx125 is the same size as a 250 2t and a kx100 is smaller though, even though they are only 25cc's different.

I'm pretty sure it might be because the fuel is running a little rich from the last owner but I don't think that's the problem... can you please tell me what it might be?...
Sage Crawfish it might be coolant. If it is coolant, that means a bad head gasket or a cracked head. Figure out of its coolant or not before you ride it more, if it's coolant and you keep riding it, you'll destroy the engine.

Damn those oil seals are toast. I just picked up a 98 Honda cr125r for $420. Smokes exactly like that with a blown right side crank seal

I just bought a 99 KX 125 yesterday for 1200 My first bike it is a bit heavy but a good starter bike compared to the 250
I was thinking y'all had every 2 stroke except kx125 bout time boys
What i figured out if the back or front wheel is wobbly it's not always the bearings check the spokes that can cause it to wobble.

Nathaniel Reczek crank seal stator side would make it run lean. That bike is running rich. Could be clutch side seal but they don't usually go bad.
