    Great conversation guys. 👌 Question, are the keys in the secure element encrypted when not logged in and is the pin login used to decrypt them so the signing key can be accessed? thx

      Hello! Yes, the keys stored in the secure element of your Ledger device are encrypted. The secure element is a tamper-resistant chip designed to protect your private keys. When you log in using your PIN, it allows the device to access and use the signing key securely. The PIN acts as a security measure to ensure that only authorized users can access the keys for signing transactions.

      no, a functioning Quantum computer that can solve a random real world problem is probably 20yrs away...also the Bitcoin technology will evolve to defend against it.
