No, they won't do that with Sophie/Firis because the original release was on PS4/Vita. Every game previously WASN'T multi-platform to begin with, so they had the excuse of doing an upgraded Vita release later on.
This boss is actually one of the best bosses to farm spirit rocks (it guarantees a drop for it if you do the light version) for some of the best equipment items in the game (Harmonium/Crimson Stones materials), farming her was basically how I got 900 quality gear for Firis.
Check out Trails in the Sky. One of the best story lines in any JRPG I have played. Character customization is great in the second game (a bit more basic in the first). For combat, the turn system is similar to this but with bonuses bound to the turns (which you can manipulate the order). It also have movement in a grid but not to the degree of tactics games
I know this reply is late, but it was "miss, miss, miss, miss" as that item used was to inflict multiple status effects, however many bosses are immune to many status conditions, so rather than them all missing, they were actually all ineffective (However there's no battle text to differentiate it)
If you want to be able to inflict "poison" status on a main boss just play final fantasy X, you can poison stall zombie Seymour (the boss with the most bullshit OHKO move)
I really like the drums playing
I can't wait for this game! I love the music and voice acting in this clip.
March is a great month for game releases. :)
agreed, though i do wish the vita version had physical copies
the vita most likely will when they release the plus version. which will happen in a year or two. they have been doing it like that a lot lately
do they talk every battle round? Is there a way to disable the attack voicing?

To disable voicing altogether, yes, you can turn it off. But there's no way to turn off just battle voice.
Best in the trilogy. Seriously underrated.

i'm not a fan of skills that sacrifice items to use but the game looks amazing outside that.
When is this coming out to switch? Along with sophie
Been looking for a turn based jrpg all the ones that come out now are pretty much button bashers
