You need to make some sort of update on console to allow people to purchase more than just 9 tiles on console .Or come out with a maps dlc featuring a lot of large maps with the ability to purchase a lot more tiles. After watching this video and looking back at my city I realized that the amount of space I had was rather limited. In the video they had a large space to build a park. But, on console you are extremely confined and I would never be able to build a realistic national park with the space that I had. Please come out with a dlc for Xbox and PlayStation that comes with various large maps and the ability to purchase more tiles than 9 do that people can create large parks like this without making it super close to a highway or close to their city. This would make the game far more enjoyable with more land. Great vid 👍
Thank you for giving actual layout tips. Many of the "tutorial" videos on here do not do that very well, and this is what I am looking to improve on most in my cities.
One of my favourite park in Parklife. If I don't have mountanious or beautiful terrain, I often used it to build a camping park in a forest. I don't if it is because of Disaster DLC or not, but this park always cause forest fire.
Thanks for this. I am having an issue with my national park. When I place the main gate roadside like yours, and with a tool booth outside, like yours, people enter the park without paying, so it shows 0 visitors, making it impossible to level up the park. If I end the road at the main gate, this problem ends, but so does the road into the park. Any solution to this?
As a console user of city skylines im tired of feeling jealous of pc users..honestly its turning me off to even watching these vids.. its just because there arent any of the mods or tools id like to have in order to create even the most basic things to make my city more realistic...but as it is ill just keep saving for my new pc ..........
@@fakename7423 thats not the games fault, that's the console makers fault. you need access to certain libraries and the hardware to handle it, which sony and microsoft don't give you. though they're getting better.
I literally have some Indonesia Landmark still on Blender but i try to make it to Cities Skylines with a bunch of tutorial i see on steam community, and steel it's not working at all
One problem I see now is electricity, most buildings require electricity, so, how can I get that to a remote location without those big pylons that are not really fitting into a national park. There is a mod I use, that adds a more rural looking version but I wouldn't mind more ingame version, an underground cable would be awesome. The ideas brought up are fascinating thoug, since I for myself never considered building a road into the park, but rather had the road at the edges. I might try that out.
In America You have to pay a fee to get into national park? I live in Czech republic in central Europe and here national parks work diferrently. There are towns and villages and roads, but there are a special rules.
@@GamingBren Yea, I ended up doing that. The cars that bypass the park entrance don't count as guests, but I got enough foot traffic to move the level along anyway.
This video made me look back in shame to my own nature reserve.. BUT, I do kinda managed to create a gateway to hell/vulcano in my nature reserve, it's something... i guess!
I love Cities: Skylines so damn much but unfortunately my potato PC can't run it and begs for mercy as soon as I reach 10k population even though I run it on lowest graphics. 😢😢
Yosemite National Park has 4,000,000 visitors yearly, what's your record number of visitors for one of your national parks?
Just shy 900.000 in small city with traffic chaos
I made a city park that allowed people to cross the highway to get from residential areas to shops and it hit almost 700,000 on console.

@@fakename7423 Damn that smart move, increasing income from Park Entrance because the people just want to shopping
Around 500,000 but I only built it not that long ago
I never thought of using toll booths as gateways to the nature reserve (or any other park for that matter). Excellent idea!
Government only source for money is fcking TAXING haha

Nice I live in the Lake District national park in England! I am planning on making the lakes in map editor for future videos.
Nice tips guys! ❤

Great video!!! Can't wait to get building
I hadn't thought of toll booths and walking tours. Good stuff, thanks.
Damn, I really want to drive my Supra on some of those roads!
Toll Booths at the reserve?! 😳 It never occurred to me! 😖 GAHH! 😖😆
We all learn from the Cities: Skylines Masters!
@@CitiesSkylines Oh, yes we do. 🤨 And I'm gonna make sure I do this from now on! 😆
The Canadian accent is strong with this one.
Bruh I didn’t even know you could put roads in parks
Me neither
love these tutorials :) please more
I never actually find a map as good as this tbh...did you created your own map?
Very useful, I had no idea about the walking tours

Cool overview, wasn't aware you could do all of that with Park Life. Just thought it was about creating urban parks
Love your video. When I placed roads in my park they bypass the gate and don't count as a visitor. What am I doing wrong?
Duh! Walking tours of the park! Excellent idea; almost as good as placing toll roads before the entrances!
We need active volcano, nuclear water , and snow avalanche
So why do we need nuclear water?
Active Volcanos! Heck yes! That can also add up to the 'Natural Distasters' DLC vibe.

All this video required was the Parklife Expansion which you should have access to, yes?

Love this DLC!! 🙌🙌
Well, I've been doing parks wrong this whole time. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Toll roads here we come! 💲💲💲
I wish somebody make Prambanan or Borobudur Temple asset for Park Life expansion... really want to try recreate the park in Cities Skylines
mikhael Theofilus - Yes, I agree! And a Pura Tanah Lot to place on the coast!

There is a mod for underground power and under water power lines.
What map was used to create this? I haven't found one that has this kind of terrain.
Yahoo Next Month SSI Come I Come Back to Yosemite Camp Ground and BBQ with myself.
How about ruin castle? Can this be incorporated and recognised in terms of the value of the Park?
2:12 N-NANI !? KANSEI DORIFTO !?!?
Ahahahhaha slow road xD

anyone know the Map he used for this tutorial?
Update: found the map he used, its Northwood Hills from the Campus update!
You also may use cabin lifts in parks to make it extra spicy
Очень люблю ваши видео, Спасибо что вы есть!
What is the map in this tutorial? Can someone suggest some other good maps for this style of building? Thanks!
Northwood Hills from the Campus update!
Ooooooh, it never occured to me, that I can put roads in these types of parks!
Me either haha
How do you put secondary roads on the other side of the park entrance? I can only build the walkways after the entrance.
Branch them off of the main road
@@GamingBren Yea, I ended up doing that. The cars that bypass the park entrance don't count as guests, but I got enough foot traffic to move the level along anyway.
do people actually use the trails to hike?
Really usefull guide 😀
Any information on what map that is ? :)
How do you use roads? They don't connect to the main gate, so aren't they getting in free?
The toll booth makes up for it
Yooo whats the Map called at 0:47 Nvm its modded
What is map name

Does the park gate allow cars through?
no
Do you think we'll ever see a Cities Skylines2? Or endless addons?
why park life is not available for win10?
I love Cities: Skylines so damn much but unfortunately my potato PC can't run it and begs for mercy as soon as I reach 10k population even though I run it on lowest graphics. 😢😢
This gives makes me inspired to build a national park but my potato doesn't want to :(
I even can't find any available space to build park in my city lol.
Hello, at 3:35 What is meant by 'too long'?
mksttlmr don’t make the distance that they have to walk a large distance
@@scj6693 hey, thx for answering. But actually I wanted some sort of measure, a rule of thumb or smth like that.
mksttlmr oh, sorry. good luck though
I wish you could have some maps as infinite money and others with that mod off
I actually don't put tolls in my city, because I believe that roads are built for all not for the rich.
Because I don't have park life DLC so I I won't watch it until then :)
What map is that and is it a mod map?
Northwood Hills from the Campus update!
How can I make my people go to my parks? They are all empty
could you also please add country flags in your next update? please!!
Nope, we god fishing boats and intercity buses and even overground metro
Then, we got airports! 🙂
Only 9 tiles on Xbox... wtf is this add more space
It's the same even on PC. There are mods that allow you to buy more tiles.
Les sous titre en français please

Sell out corporate video. Sanitized
