Last stand is best If you need to farm keys. I agree with Skill C3 is probably the best spot. But if your team refuses to help on the balcony there is a solid building in the northwest by the stairs that is also decent.
This place is soo overvalued :D There is a far better in the middle of the map. On the right side. 2 armored TD can close corridors, everyone else playing hulldown.

idk, i played with randoms in last stand 4 times, each time with a different tank, and we won the first one, second one and the last one, only losing one time. i think the key to me is, in each battle, there is always one near death situation happening, and the key is to nonstop heal yourself, or group heal if you have some down teammates nearby. once you get passed that point then its easy.

For the last stages I just forked over the gold and in a couple minutes any form of stress was over and the new tank in my garage. Problem's that I quit playing after 2021's black market, only show up for these events (and not all of them, Christmas for certain), so I gotta get the hand of it again, don't like to handicap my teammates. I was able to complete all 5 waves with a team of randoms. We had Two Groms, a platoon of a TS-5 and a rented T-32, and an AT-15. It didn't even seem like everyone was playing perfectly, but we ended up completing it relatively easily in the end.
Completed it from the first time with randoms and even was afk the whole first fight with the 2 bosses cause my electricity went down lol. Guess it depends on teammates as usual
Nighmare with a nice team in my second game sesion in the mode, the last stand in the first day, with Kilana, I saw groms too, but Kilana allow you to punish hard in distance when they are closing from range, and have time to load another. Then just punish from close and allow your fast firing mates to make kill shoots, In my case an Obsidian make all kill shoots and understand the importance. It0s just a fun mode, and lineups with randoms are not always bad, anyway, it's the fast way to farm keys...
I found for me, the Jagtiger 88 and the JagTiger Prot work better. I have JT88 set so it has 3599 DPM before the combat ability. While using the combat ability the ROF is insane. It almost feels like an E25. The XM66F worked pretty well for me as well. I did ok in Turtle, its ROF with my setup is 3326 DPM. Which is great, just feel I did better in Jag 88.

But you need to invest 50 Mirium each time. Sustained DPM is not high enough imo. TS-5, Grom, and even shrek work better for me than swipera. Grom is crazy with 3800 dpm, did over 32k twice yesterday

Cleared the last stand with turtle. Dont see how i will clear nightmare, even hard is difficult as mot people just rush out solo and die and its impossible to solo hard difficulty even with malachite. So far normal mode seems the easyest way to get keyes with out platooning as in last stand people go in with 122tm and borsig. Maybe later as people realise you need dpm and atleast some armor last stand will give more keyes.
On NA there is little coordination of random teams, players wander around pulling adds, getting lost, not knowing to get to the generator in time. The event modes are way too hard for random teams so its a waste of time to try to do hard, nightmare, or wave attacks because teams just fall apart so easily. Not everyone is a Unicom, WG knows that and they count on it so they can make it too hard so people pay up.
You don't need to be good, you need to use teamwork. Even unicums fail without it. This is just proof WG encourages antisocial players who only want to farm for themselves.
Yes we had to put this grenadere player in their place one round on hard mode everyone yelled at him I was distracting the bosses and ripped back to portal helped with last kill n this dummy was out of the circle so the immortals goons came up while the players was still outside we smoked him and moved on but I lost half my hp we wer all pissed one or two more seconds and we would have lost right there

Right so between saturday and sunday I passed 5th wave with randoms and nightmare... but had to play a F ton to get good teams. Hard mode bosses were much harder than the nightmare, nightmare was more like hard mode to be honest...
It was trying to beat nightmare like 10 times playing cent, t54, double but never succeeded.. So I stopped caring and for shits and giggles I took the AMX for one game (bcs I am used to it from spamming normal mode) and we won with me on the 2nd place, what a game tgat was (played with random guys, I don't have friends)

I did hard mode I personally took the role of distraction against the boss tanks those hunters and they immortal got wall glitched by yours truly then I ripped to the portal to move on with the team all full hp into stage 4

It's funny streamers actually do nightmare/last stand in platoons and then make guide as if they are experts in Mirny as much as they are experts in wot. While they are indeed good at WoT, Mirny is completely different game and they are just as noobish as anyone else. They may have played previous versions of Minry, but lots of players did, and experience in WoT doesn't make them experts in that field. I have completed everything with randoms, haven't seen a streamer that did it. They all play platoons. Anyways, good job.
You repeated what I'm being saying for a long time: low armored vehicles simply are underpowered in this game, they simply do not work as inteneded, they simply are weak and badly balanced.
Unpopular opinion: This year’s nightmare difficulty is way easier compared to last year, I actually did that on random with guys with average 5k wtr, and when we were fighting boss i messed up twice and died by the hedgehogs XD
Just play on normal and then exit the battle as soon as you load in, Wargaming does not penelize you, if your team wins without you then you stil get 5 keys. Do this for all 6 tanks at the same time.

Shared health pool, just don't overthink it
Focus on one of them and try to avoid the other one
But also more targets to hit - you don't have to drive after him if he goes behind a rock or ridge, you can just shoot the other one.

For me it feels kinda other way around, I guess it depends with what kind of players you will play with.

Italian TDs are pretty decent for last stand when you can skip the long clip reloads and go back to smacking people
