My real name is Tad, but DonKawaii/Don was simply an IGN name I created playing FF14 online, so I kinda just rolled with it. Lol. I am also a teacher, and I teach people dance. And normally, I teach my students dance through sharing my own choreography, giving people drills or exercises to build foundation and technique. and I've been dancing for 15 years mainly growing up through Hip Hop dance culture, but my foundation also includes minor areas in ballet, jazz, and tap. And how I got into K-Pop was because the main three groups, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD. That followed with korean dramas, variety shows, and the rest is history.

In the previous three months, he had hardly any activity or news and fans were worried about his health. However, his return gave us great sweetness and comfort. So I think it’s really appropriate to call him KDBB ❤️

Im here again , happen to see your newly posted vid while watching daniels performance this pm. Backstory again, 2U was dropped in march after daniel got sick last 2019 with anxiety . Just imagine how emo we were when we saw teasers countdown of this although we saw him in hello daniel his 1st appearance & travelshow in portland after getting sick . when this was dropped we are also crying since we saw him with this very happy vibe. ingyoo choreographed this with a happy vibe to enjoy the moment snd they did it in LA after daniel went to portland . even promotion of this were all fun , and this became a literal spring song of daniel , his friends , danity & even non fsns . 2 there has become a regular dancer of daniel & his happy pill , they are his new close friends from that time until now. thank you again for ur reaction .

Thanks again for your reaction. The vibe of the song is so satisfying, isn’t it? This song means a lot to Danity. After the sudden stop of Touchin promotion in late 2019, everyone was so worried about him. So when we heard that he was gonna have a comeback in March 2020, it was more than excitement. It was a relief. It was a signal telling us that we got our precious boy back. This song and the album made that spring become even brighter and warmer. According to KDN, CYAN is the baby step album, Magenta is the adult step and now we are waiting for his final album of the color series. This boy deserves love and support :)

2U (ee-yu) also means 'reason' in Korean. They filmed the MV in Los Angeles. It's a happy song. I really love the melody & Daniel's vocal is amazing in this song. By now I'm sure you already know about Wedemboyz (Ingyoo Kim & Vata). They are really amazing choreographers & dancers. They are also very good friends to Daniel... BTW I love all your reaction to all Kang Daniel's MVs and Dance Practice. There are alot: "What Are U Up To", "Horizon", "Intro - Through The Night", "Jealous" etc. Hopefully one day you can check those out.

Some of these dancers have more than 10+ yrs relationship with Daniel and they used to dance together as they were little. They are his closest friends who tried to visit his house everyday and comforted him while he was going through a mental health problem 2 yrs ago. He is so blessed that he can work with his best friends.

Daniel really is so close to his dancers and staff overall. His company feels like a big family when you watch their content. For example the behind the scenes for Paranoia MV.. It was so cold on the sets but Daniel kept encouraging and patting everyone, being all goofy with the dancers, his friends. I can see why you got emotional!

Thank you for this 2U reaction, I really enjoyed it a lot. Daniel said the inspiration of this song was from the "Step Up" movie series, he wanted to create that kind of free, lively and pleasure vibe for the song. He also said the choreographers(ingyoo and vata) arrange the performance more free style, not too orderly so every dancers could add their personality into the choreographer. That's the reason why 2U's performance looks so happily and make everyone smile. Really appreciated your reaction work and I agree with your opinion about the artist-dancers relationship part, they are close friends and a team.

Thank you for this reaction! You show us that Kang Daniel is so fucking crazy with his dance. He try to put all of behind him into the spotlight. They are not just dancer or back-up but they are daniel's friend and he make us believe that he enjoy dancing with his friend!!
2U was released in early 2020, during corona peak. I saw a lot of non fans commented that this song bring a healing and joy to them especially during quarantine days.
To find out not only song but a choreo too can make someone find joy in it, make me so proud of Kang Daniel. He must be happy if he know this. Cyan mini album is a special to us coz it's the 1st album released right after he taking hiatus.

These boys accompanied Daniel through his very difficult period, they are real friends😭 Also 2U is the first song Daniel came back from that dark period, it was really meaningful and touching. I was teared up when I see the dance practice, he deserves these good friends, he deserves to be happy.

2U is very special to Danity (his fandom) since this song is the first one he released after he went on hiatus in 2019 (which lead to paranoia being written). It was uncertain at that point if he'll really still comeback after all that he went through so when this came out and it was a light, fun and vibey song, we were ecstatic at the same time relieved that he's back.
This song won 5 times in music shows by the way and recently (last week) in a Vlive, Kang Daniel said this is his favorite song of his 😊

Agree with all you said! The dynamics & chemistry between Daniel & the dancers are one of a kind. It feels like the dancers are really embodied in the performance, not as just "background" dancers. Love it!
I love how Daniel doesn't hesitate to share the spotlight with the dancers, like in Waves where they have their own dance break without him. I mean, that's cool!
My favorite one is during Melon Music Award 2019 (th-cam.com/video/7NkpSolzWug/w-d-xo.html) where he performed What Are You Up To and Touchin', and the dancers have their own moment to open Touchin performance (around minutes 6, in the video I linked). It's so nice to see. You're right, Daniel and his team really understand vibes and how to put memorable performance (even when it's only days before his hiatus. I don't know how he coped with it. Amazing). If you ever interested to check What Are You Up To (his first song as a solo artist), I really recommend you to check that MMA 2019 live stage too.
