- It Steals is a fantastic short horror game with 5 unique modes that each feel well fleshed out and fun enough to return too even after your beat the game. I'm not an aspiring youtuber, just a guy who wants to to post videos on games i like.
In this video i beat all 5 modes and added a little something towards the end. As you play through, the modes get harder with each one requiring more caution and strategy than the last but not too much to feel impossible. And i think its an indie game but im not sure, but am almost sure. Also, not pixelated because i wanted it to look clearer for the viewer and for me its a lot scarier when you can see stuff in good detail.

Hide N Seek is probably the best one. I especially like how the monster chases you with it knocking over objects and having very loud footsteps on its way to catch you

Hide and seek mode is probably the most accurate simulation of being inside a building with Scp-096 and not knowing where he is.

Jokes aside. I really love the gameplay and really good job in Completing the game. Subscribed
While you did showcase a "deathless" run, I'd argue showcasing the deaths adds more to the video. The pixelation filter also allows your imagination to fill in the gaps, so to speak, and by not understanding what the heck is trying to get you, it's supposed to add to the horror vibe. The pixelation also gets chunkier when running in a chase, adding to the panic when being chased when you can't make out things until it's right in your face.

@@TarotVylan i believe he didn't want to ruin the experience for those who wanted to play it, and it's not like it's a huge pain in the ass to look up a video of the game, like you guys have done. i think pastra did a phenomenal job describing the game and hyping it up.

That last run towards the finish was epic and dumb at the same time. They shut the light off because you were too good and clutched up

I would really like to see a bigger game with all these concepts. I don't know how replayable this is but I think it would be a lot cooler and more immersive if the experience lasted longer and was more varied

Someone else posted that you get a beeping radar that senses the fake spider walls and you have a wrist clock that counts down until they get enraged then you have to hide in one of three one time use vaults to restart your clock and evade the enraged spider wall things.

theres a scripted cutscene at the end of each level, most of them resulting in you dying
