Stacking survivability is key. Are you planning to do a similar video for team play?
Watching Rachta go from double headshots to missing shots and not being able to tell how many players there are in a compound and getting quick-tapped.... sort of humanizes him for me.

@RachtaZ thank you rachta. I'm pretty decent in duos and trios on Xbox series X (5-6 star) but when I try solos I get messed up usually. The videos help a lot but I know I also just need more practice to control the nerves
Be mindful that some Traits are incompatible with eachother.
Some can technically give you more flexibility when changing loadouts. But having BOTH Quartermaster and Fanning guarantees that you're missing out on at least one important aspect.
man i love that you keep posting the best helping content, as a new player even to shooters genre it is much appretiated.
My favorites apart from the update 1.12 buffed ones are silent killer and lightfoot, makes it much easier to sneak up to and outmanoeuver enemies.

@Rachta Z Ahhh OK. I've never seen that before.
After those traits I am going for Doctor, Physician, Silent Killer and Lightfoot. Faster healing and being way more silent and stealthy is mostly also essential.

Of course some of the traits vary on play style but these are great traits to build around.

Hey ! I love your videos.
I have a question about gator legs. How quiet are you crounching in the water with gator legs? I met an enemy who was crounching in the mud so I could hear him. Then I didn't heard any more steps so I thought he stopped but he was actually crounching in the water flanking me. It surprised me a lot. From my pov, he was more quiet moving in the water than in the mud. Even with the trait, I felt like something went wrong.
Console players are way more sweaty than PC. I watch all these videos and twitch and can’t believe how many bots there are on PC.

recently i see a lot of people doing jumping headshoot with caldwell pax at 40-60 meters . Is there a bug that makes this gun hit the head?
I missed or skiped part where you are saying about positioning. So I will add.
If you can, you chould try to get highround or if it is mid-long range fight, stay behind "baricade".
Because 1. if u are being killed, you would have time to revive, while the enemy come to your position. Also if u killed someone of their party, enemy will revive his mate in 90%, so you will have time for safe reviveing and continung fight in good position.
2. same, while they will came to you, you just instantly wake up and will be in safe (maybe not in safe but with gun in your hands, so you can fighting).
Position is 99% succese of solo playing, coze if it's bad, they will just burn you after first down

Doctor + Physician was my no1 priority before the patch, but now they are after Necromancer & Resilience. If I'm like lvl30+ on a hunter (and I only use legendary hunters) I like to take ghoul. It can save a lot of heal.
Ghoul is awesome for those long fights when Regen runs out
Ghoul is pretty pointless when you can just run regen shots with Vigor.
I saw a video about some changes with the 1.12 update and was hyped bc playing solo always kinda sucked in comparison to playing with some friends. who have since stopped playing. (The main reason I took a break from hunt).
Between the perks with solo specific boosts and the Winfield shorty silenced I was looking forward to trying some new stealth loadouts as a solo. Come to find out it's locked behind an event quest but that event ended and there's no official timeframe on if or when the weapon will be available. (People say "next update")
Logged right back out of the game after I learned I couldn't even attempt to unlock the new weapon.
Funny that 1.12 has multiple features to try to improve quality of life and player retention but also managed to make me log out without even playing a single match.
I'm fine with cosmetic stuff being limited time but when gameplay is locked behind limited time events wtf are people who can't grind a game every week supposed to do?

I always try to get either fanning or levering as well for my solo. Plenty of times I have self ressed and come up with a swift and wipe the duo looting my with their backs turned.
I have hunters with over 100 trait points in my roster and never use them. I always go for a fresh one 🤦

If you meet a player called Dante's Russia, beware because he enjoys killing his teammates and leaves the map to make you lose your hunter!

It's the crossbow bolt, it spawns from the camera. I thought it was a bit weird too but I asked him in discord
@@LowrieW I've never seen that in the 2500 hours I've played or in any of his other shots from the crossbow. That said I guess maybe it's because of the way he ADS/shot the camera caught it just right.

Yeah like idk if it's an unpopular opinion but imo Solos are way too OP and annoying to deal with now especially for other solos lol. I mean even before all this solos got matchmaked into matches with worse players but yeah it wasn't fair and it needed some changes. The revive alone tho, even with the 10 seconds cooldown i don't think it's fair the way it is, imo it should get nerfed even more. The additional perks however, those makes solos so freaking OP. The game is now all about looking out for them and i mean there is way more of solos now too and it kinda breaks the natural flow of the match. With basically one good match that a player wins, they can get perks that will counter every tool other players have against solos, even if used all at once and they can even get some bonuses on top like serpent or 10 seconds of scan. It is ridiculous imo.
crytek hard nerfed mr chary giving trait points i only get it like once or twice a week. Pre Devil's Moon event u wud get it so much more often
I understand your reasoning here, but it depents on your solo-playstyle. The further away you are from your enemy the less important resilience and also kind of necro become. And Conduit with serpent is what enables a quick and maybe long rotation around an enemy. After those two i go for necro, magpie and then resilience. Then come all the quality of life traits like doctor, packmule, iron-x/x-scopesmith, frontiersman and so on...
But i agree that not playing sniper might change that order of traits. I just recently started playing more solo, and currently i am usually one of the a**hole-snipers everyone hates ^^
I tend to stay away from stealth builds as I want them to hear me from running to crouching, it messes with there audio points to where I am. Although placing traps quietly can be op, as well as able to reveal traps. But obviously getting all them plus ya actual build will be about 35 I think
If they allow me to pause my MMR/KDA to experiment I would love to try solo. Sadly if it doesn't pan out and my MMR and KDA tank then people will dodge fucking lobbies non stop.
It's why I paly quickplay. It does affect MMR still but not too badly.

Thats why a way to cancel kda for yourself would be very nice feature. Games where you cant see kda feels so much better and easier.

Hunt is my go to fps nowadays, I don't know why, considering most of ppl I run into are reaaaaally good. At least better than me. THAT WHAT I THOUGH
Playing with my duo, or as trio, we win, let's say 3 times out of 4. win = bounty and at least one team wipe.
Mostly, I'm "supporting my team" around the said fights. Pressuring the ennemies, and stuff.
But there it is. Headshot. Again. and again...
AAAAAAAAND again...
But I discovered the joy of SOLO HUNTING
And jesus, I know there is 'mmr stuff" cuz i'm going solo.
But man, I find it broken.
Not saying that my mates hold me back or W/E
But every solo game is at least a 4 kills games, where I have SO MUCH FUN.
I find it a bit OP RN. You can revive yourself, have some good advantages, and the matchmaking make up for the downsides of being alone.
Don't know what you fellow hunters thinks about the state of the "solo hunting"

I love your videos , but in my opinion solo players ruin this game :( especially now with the new perks it’s meant to be a team based game and I never have fun when every other team is a solo because they hide most of the game
Personally I run every stealth trait imaginable as solo, because my philosophy is "if I die or get hit, I've already done something wrong"
Solo is now casual proof, it's never been easier than now.
Solo Necro is pretty worthless now with the long timer unless you're sniping. Serpent and Conduit are the best solo traits.
Worthless??? Didn't you watch the video, he was in a compound surrounded by a team all the time and he still kept reviving and killing them... OP I would say.
@@Cracklord666 It's good, which is why I mentioned sniping, where you can make full use of it. OP would mean its busted. Its not because you're fighting with missing health if you can get back up by some miracle. The trait is basically a tax on the stupid and even the stupid are paranoid enough to burn everyone after the event. The only window you might have is getting up in the middle of a fight where they haven't had time to burn you. Playing solo you make so much money off a single bounty its faster just rolling up a new character and getting into another match instead of playing possum for 5 minutes waiting for a chance to get up. 9 times out of 10 your body is trapped, burned and every team mate you downed is back up before the 10 second revive timer has ended. Serpent and Conduit will net you far more bounties, after that you want to prioritize survival traits. Might as well play like you only have one shot because you rarely get to use Necro now that everyone is wise to it.
