    I love the labels this machine prints.
    But it seems that the settings you suggest only apply to one label session.
    When you turn the machine off the settings are gone!!

    Anyone know if the chain mode margins work for different label names OR only if it’s for multiple repeat label names??

  • @AnnieCarvalho
    @AnnieCarvalho 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I did all that but still have big spaces between words, wasting so much tape! Are there other settings I might have wrong? I got this from a Goodwill store.

    Just the way I like it Erica organized and neat. A place for everything and a way to find it! Happy Mother's Day! I liked your system for the dies but I couldn't get the links for the ticket sleeve and magnet to work.

    I got the chain setting, doing the stacked printing, but I have 2 dots coming put, and don't know how to remove it...HELP!

    • @nicoleflath9441
      @nicoleflath9441 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That shows you where to cut. You have to remove the tab setting to get rid of it

    • @arlenes1048

      I did a factory reset and it got rid of those annoying dots. Still a waste at the beginning of the label, but at least no more dots. 😏

    Hi
    Does any one have an experience of removing these labels in say 2 years time from platic or glass etc.
    Normal paper labels are a pain to remove.
    And some ink markers bleed through the paper.
    So I am hoping these Brother labels will peel off cleanly if I need to in a few years time

    I bought the electric cord for it no more batteries i also got the red on white tape super cute. If you just type and space you can save on tape as well.

    Erica, thank you so much for showing me how chain setting works on my p touch. I’ve been noodling around with it for a couple years but never took the time or tape to play. This video answered several questions I had in an easy useful way! You rock! TYSM!

    Erica what size cardstock did you get at Michael's and what size was it cut into? The cut up pieces of cardstock look like 4"x6" or 5"x7" but I'm just guessing. Tfs

    • @ScrapDiva29
      @ScrapDiva29  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I there I purchased the 65pound weight card that is 8 1/2 by 11. You need to measure your clear sleeve to decide on what size you want to cut it down to.

    If you haven't tried them yet, get the generic label tape refills off of Amazon. They're like 1/4 the price and work just as well.

    Brother is scamming us out of tape and batteries on purpose. The adapter cost is ridiculous also. And it's backward polarity which can be dangerous. I'm going with another brand

    • @Digmen1
      @Digmen1 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I bought the adaptor as I soon realised that it would be cheaper than buying 6 AAA batteries all the time. I have lots of adaptors, but I learned a bit about the polarity. So I bought one. Its time all the manufacturers stopped makign all these different adaptors so we can sdave money and save the world!
