I've purchased an Access Virus TI Snow from 2008 today and replaced the old, original battery immediatly with your video support. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, it helped a lot. My Snow had a strange failure. Somtimes as it starting up, the global tune moved lower and sounds lower, but displayed correct Tune- 0. I hope it will works fine in the future.

No, as the factory presets live in the Virus' ROM which is pre-flashed at the factory. And as ROM stands for Read Only Memory that means once it's flashed it can't be modified or wiped. You'll only loose any 3rd party banks you've loaded onto the Virus through the Virus Control Software basically.
Great video! I recently got a second hand Snow, and it's constantly freezing and crashing. Couldn't figure much how to fix it, except one forum post where a user has successfully replaced the DSP chip (DSPB56367AG150). Have you faced any similar issue or any idea how easy it is to replace this chip ? thanks

Thanks a lot! My battery was ok over 10 years. I didn't know about that. Lost my patches to days ago. Just restored everything from backups.

If you change battery will it loose the factory sounds
its good to keep a backup of the roms, it maybe set to default banks after the battery replacement.
