    Who else has had horrible sync issues with Nanoleaf? Sorry not trashing Nanoleaf because they make a beautiful product but now I'm not looking back with these Govee Hexa Panels.

      I had major problems with nanoleaf losing the wifi connection even though it was in the same room as my router. I can't believe it has been years and Nanoleaf never solved the problem. I do like the Nanoleaf original triangle panels because of the look but I just bought a ton of Govee products; bulbs, Hexa and the flexible tube. Govee is stealing customers from Nanoleaf and Hue

    • @paul9387
      @paul9387 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@moltenpros you are 100% correct. But same time we have cheaper hue and reliable nanoleaf. Maybe this will force the two to work on their issues. But still, I will not take my hue setup down nor take nanoleafs down over govee

      My nanoleaf controller stopped working out of nowhere after only 6 months. Nanoleaf replaced it but at the price premium, you expect it to be easy to use and built to last.
      After watching this, I’m thinking of jumping ship! Great video by the way!

    On a sidenote... I finished the Xeon build I mentioned I was doing a few weeks ago. Everything's running great. It's about 70% a workstation and 30% a gaming rig. The single core performance is about on par to a 3770K.

    I have a set of these and they look very cool. Also I know they didn't exist until very recently, but Govee has a Hexa Pro version that is even better. They look like 3 dimensional RGB cubes on your wall and have a ton of customization through the app.

    Hey bro, I have Nanoleaf hexagons aurura canvas and there is no other product that is as much pain in the butt as them. Sometimes I'm afraid of changing the mode on them or do anything. Canvas is the worst, can't figure out why would anyone come up with this type of setup to wifi. Govee rocks, I don't have their panels only few light strips some rgb some rgbic, oh and govee aura lamp. They can be trusted on every aspect, products are reliable plus customer service is A+. They always respond same or next day.

    So I just grabbed two sets of these and they work fabulously. However, I'm a little disappointed their DIY modes won't sync together. The two sets are arranged about 6 feet apart and the app doesn't allow them to run the same pattern. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @PCTechHustle
      @PCTechHustle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad you like them. I don’t think you can sync them 100% unless they are all interconnected. I run the same color gradient pattern on both my sets but the physical layout is different so they don’t look in sync

    Could you look at doing a video on Craigslist Monitors. While for gaming you should have a Quality screen I.E (144hz or better) for side screens that just display twitch chat or other windows what don't need a high refresh rate, What Monitors and mounts are out there for a good price. I know what I like and use Other might think they need 3 144hz screens when in reality they need 1 high refresh and 1 to 2 60hz for support screens. Just an Idea. Thanks for the videos. currently working on installing my Hex panels.

    Does anybody know if it's possible to synchronize the colors and effects between the glide panels and the led strips? Since they are supposed to be one eco system I'd hope to set up the led strips as an "extension" of the panels.
