Same for me at first. I have started watching glee now but its just... hard. Its so wierd because I didnt know her or Cory. But it somehow makes me so incredibly sad for them and their loved ones
I was re-seing the series in the exact time Naya disappeared. And I can't do it anymore. It's painful cause I was a huge Glee fan back in 2010, I was 14 and grew up with them. It helped me so much...
Naya's missing, I'm desperate. So here I am, crying to her voice in this song once again. I really hope there's a miracle and they find her alive, seriously.

I love Naya voice in this and the death look Brittany gave to fin. when Santana looked at him, her voice is so good and the harmonys are great love her one of the best singers in the show
Ugh. I can't take it. With everything going on right now, this is too much. Glee was my happy place. And then one castmember died. And then another. And now this. This was always one of my favorite song clips and at least we still have it. To me, Naya R was feisty and outspoken and totally hot. Most of all, I am sad for her little 4-year-old son. I hope he has a lot of love and support from his family.

Christopher Scotts Dude, same! It always felt like a wake up call to people that rush people to come out of the closet. I was a victim of peer pressure to come out of my closet. Now, I am openly bisexual and am accepted by my friends and peers.
Honestly this episode pisses me off so much. I mean finn outs Santana and she along with us, the audience, are expected to forgive him like he didnt just potentially ruin her life. Sickens me to my core thinking that the writers really thought that was a good idea

Like even apart from that there were so many other plots going on like shelby sleeping with puck, Rachel rigging the election and getting suspended, the blonde guy choosing Sue over Beiste. all took the spotlight away from Santana! Also they deleted scenes where Santana came out to the cheerleaders and they could've included her coming out to her parents too😓

I love this performance but I do hate how the writers had Finn help Santana through her coming out story, and not Kurt and Blaine, I mean if you need advice on coming out who would you turn to the guy who a 1 or 2 yrs ago was borderline homophobic or the 2gay men who have been there and made it through?? It would have been nice to see Santana turn to Klaine during this episode, it could of been a really touching scene.
Yes that is true because I'm a lesbian and had trouble coming out with my family and my best friend who is also a lesbian she helped me a lot more and now my whole family knows that I'm a lesbian even the school knows that I'm a lesbian and one of my friends are not okay with that but I told them that you can't make me change I told them that's who I am so if they didn't like that well then we aren't friends anymore and they said fine so I'm happy now because my friends are accepted about who I am and who I'm in love with.
And then having them get married at the Brittana wedding would mean so much more
Especially since Finn outed her to the school, which is the most douchebag move you can possible do. I never understood how she could just forget and forgive that so easily.
@@floorgeenen132 Yeah I think they wrapped this storyline with Finn as the hero to give Finn a pass for his shitty behavior so the show could move on. It was written with that priority in mind, not with Santana's story as the priority. To me, as a lesbian, it feels hollow. Love this song tho!

How do they manage to harmonize their voices singing the same note throughout the entire song? I mean, Naya is an Mezzo-Soprano while Idina is an Soprano. That's weird, but fantastic.
Actually Idina's a Mezzo-Soprano. People often think she's a Soprano, but she herself says she's not comfortable singing as such since she was in high school, and she's always cast as a Mezzo.
Mezzo soprano is called alto
Patrice Gravel thibeault Nope. Mezzos are actually closer to sopranos, range wise, but they're three different things. It's like bass, baritone and tenor for men.

Feel like this was one of the most broad performances on the entire show. Raw, amazing vocals from a number of people hurting through real life confusions and pain. One of the best performances in all of glee hands down.
2024 I randomly heard this song on Spotify and thought gee.... I havent heard this song by K.D Lange in a spell. I was thinking... she sounds different but great and checked whose actually singing and was pleasantly surprised it was Naya aka Santana from Glee. I haven't seen all the Glee episodes. This version with Idina is fabulous! All of the Glee cast are extremely talented. I have to say Santana, Rachel, Mercedes, Chris and Blaine are my favorites to listen too. Glee was such an awesome show with a wealth of talent and great singing and dancing. Very sad for Naya Rivera who drowned saving her son. R.I.P beautiful soul 💜🕊
