Why didn't you turn on the lights for the final part of the video? Was looking forward for that. I know the battery case doesn't fit but just let the lights be at the bottom so we can see what it would have been like :) .. Still thanks for an awesome video !!!
Lovely work! If you are going to make the border deep enough for batteries, maybe consider a pull out for storing chess pieces too? And as it sits now, my preference would be no handles.

Beautiful and unique design! It's just a little hard to watch videos that show opening everything up and checking it out. Then I have to deal with trying to skip ahead and not accidently hit the next button or x-out button. Other than that, it's a good video
I like the checking stuff out parts in videos but I get what you're saying.. Its a delicate balance the video maker has to deal with. Can't please everyone's style of watching TH-cam but in my opinion this wasnt bad at all really. Content creators aren't making videos for one particular viewer, they're trying to make it consumable for as many as they can so I try to understand that when I get annoyed.. 😊 If its just too awful (sometimes it is) I go to another video, they are plentiful.. I also prefer commentary, but this can be a delicate balance for the creator also, so comes back to can't please all the people all the time...
