As a Guitarist , and Lynch is my Idol I have to say great job !! Guitar work was very , very good ! The Vocals were very well done its hard to get in young younger Dons vocal range and you nailed it without trying to sound like him and I enjoyed the song as a DAMN good cover ... I couldn't tell that it wasn't the Dokken album when it started - great job in capturing the tone! You need a drummer and bassist and get on the road as a Dokken tribute band!
Wicked, wicked, biting/screaming tone and playing from Jay. And that rhythm guitar was thick and grating. Great singing and drumming too. Great performance, guys! You more than did that song justice! It was as compelling as the original as far as I am concerned and would be one hell of a live performance.
George Lynch guitar solos always were so emotionally driven that I would get Goosebumps for real. Jay's solo on this does the exact same! Had Rocco played this solo, the end result would also be the same.
The lead guitar player really is a big George Lynch fan, the way he holds the pick, does vibrato, and of course the guitars he uses. If you had zoomed in on him and left his head out of the frame, you could have said George Lynch played lead for you and I would have believed it.
Incredible good Cover-Version - This song is the best possible combination of Melodic Metal and Groove. That's what DOKKEN is standing for. And the guitar solos pertformed by JAY are really sick! I am blown away! Congratulations for that.
